Best place to buy music online (NO iTunes)???
My dad's neighbor's grandkids want to put downloaded music on their mp3 players. They're NOT iPods... I don't know what make they are....
So my question is, what is out their for them to use? I'm not going to introduce them to Kazaa or any other illegal form of downloading. They can discover that themselves.
Thoughts?

I've been a longterm subscriber of MusicMatch. Prices are the same and you get to download MP3's, not Itunes formatted music that other music software (like musicmatch) can't play. They have a pretty wide selection, but you'll find gaps. For instance, they're lacking in Dave Matthews and AC/DC, but they have the entire Beatles collection and Led Zeppelin. I realize that Dave and ACDC are not as huge as the later two, but they're still very very mainstream. You can't however pull the latest music charts by radio stations in each city like you can in Itunes, and MusicMatch doesn't offer compilations and mixes put together by the software developers, but that's why I use both services to make CD's. Beacuse once you burn it to a CD, you can use MusicMatch to re-rip it back to MP3. You can also download whole albums at a good price. Tracks are 99 shiny round copper thingys...
that's all for now!
