If this much bullshit happens on the simple pre-order, just wait til the 24th at activation. I bet the freaking phones won't work smoothly until July 1st.

Wow! After trying all day, I was just able to complete my order for a 32gb Black iPhone 4 and a black bumper. Kind of strange that they are making me ship it to the billing address on my AT&T bill. I thought I would be able to have it shipped to the office.
Oh well, I know the activation process on the 24th is going to be a nightmare worse than this pre-order crap, so waiting until the weekend to activate will probably be a good thing anyway.
For those that are still trying to pre-order, keep at it. You'll get in eventually. Maybe...

It failed on me again. I'll have to wait till around midnight or something.
If I have a scheduled in-store pickup, will I have to wait in a ridiculous line? Don't pre-orders get priority? I have to catch a plane to DC by 11am that day and can't have it delivered to me, I need to pick it up.

I'm still so undecided about getting an iPhone 4. I've been playing with my old 1G iPhone and since I upgraded to 3.1.3 it seems to have fixed all the issues I had with it. But I don't know if I want to part with my BlackBerry.

That would explain it! Just thinking out loud here...
Pros for iPhone:
- Web browser. By miles
- "Just Works" with my MacBook Pro (seriously, BlackBerry + Mac is not meant to be)
- Netflix. Talk about a freaking cool feature.
- Could use LogMeIn to manage PCs.
Pros for BlackBerry
- Keyboard. Duh.
- True multitasking... this is the biggest thing holding me back from getting an iPhone.
Pros for iPhone:

Yea I was think of doing that with my og iPhone.
Also I was trying to order the bumper case, but it won't ship until July 2nd. Probably can get it before that at the downtown SF apple store.

i must be the unlucky bastard that got into the system before they change the ship date but when i was about to check out, the date changed to july 2nd
