Any tips on Sprint dealing on renewing?
It's almost time to renew my sprint contract. I hated sprint, but now would like to keep them cause I get great service now that I moved. I also do not use my phone very much. I use about 300-350 minutes total(includes free minutes) I have the $45 plan. No PCS vision, no sprint to sprint minutes. I pay with tax & stuff, about $56. I feel I don't need to pay that much. Any advise on getting some deals with sprint to fit my needs? I see plans from other cell places that would be better for me. At the time they didn't have free weekend/night with the 300 minute plan. Or the 7pm start time. Also I had to put a deposit on the account when I opened it. I can get that back correct once the contract is up, & then pay month to month? How does that work?
Thanks

If you pay month to month its 10 or 15 dollars more. I am in the exact same situation as you. I talked to someone through email, and they said if I resign for 2 years they will give $100 credit on my account, and give me the nights start at 7pm deal.
Which pretty much sucks if you want a new phone, considering that a new customer can get $330 off a new phone on Amazon (150 Sprint rebate, 180 amazon.com rebate) with that calling plan.
My plan is up in a week and since they won't offer me the same deals as a new customer to resign I am switching to Verizon.
oh but if you do stay with Sprint, switch to the 300 minute calling plan. I have it now for $30 but I think they may have raised to $35 now. You shouldn't be paying $56 if you only use 350 minutes including free ones.

U can always get deals with sprint. What you do is call cancelation department when ur plan is up, they'll send u to retention department, thats when u can make deals, if u dont like the deal, hang up and call again for another rep. Last time, i had the 300anytime min plan, they upgraded me to the 1000 anytime min plan and gave me $150 toward a phone.
