For those of you with Android phones....
1. Are you able to "delete all" deleted emails? I am referring to the email app, not gmail. I have over 2000 emails in my trash folder and don't really feel like checking them off one at a time. I have done some research online and found the question asked many times.
2. Messaging, when sending to multiple contacts, any replies are delivered under the indivdual contact, not the group thread.
I am on version 2.3.4, using an LG G2X. I know I do not have the latest version, so I was wondering if these "enhancements" are available on newer versions. I dont think my phone will be getting upgraded to ICS.
Thanks.

With regard to #2, I have seen a setting in phones that uses MMS instead of SMS to allow for the extra data involved with group messages. It may be that your phone is set up to do that or the recipients don't have that setting or don't recognize the message format.
Never done a group text :foreveralone:, so I don't know much more.

Don't use stock E-Mail app either. Is there any option to select all if you hit the Menu button or long press and hold?
As far as group messaging, the stock Vanilla messaging app doesn't have the ability to group message properly. Not sure why this hasn't been fixed by Google but there are apps in the Play Store that can do it I believe. Some skins also have this feature built in like Sense does I believe. Also some carriers have apps installed that do it like Verizon does with Verizon Messages.

Thanks for chiming in...
-No, there is no menu or long hold option to select all emails. Another quirk I have noticed, is once you delete an email you can never move it back to your inbox. You can still open emails from the delete folder and read them, but you can move or reply/forward them.
I do view my emails periodically from my home pc, but even when my pc pulls the mail down, whatever is on the phone will remain there, be it the inbox or deleted box. I like that feature because if I want to keep an email on my phone for later reference but don't really need it permanently I can delete it at home but still have it on the phone.
The group text thing isn't a big deal to me, I do so only once in a great while.
I like android, I just hope they address some of these minor issues going forward.
