i watched the lakers game last night. malone and payton both looked good picking up the offence. and they looked pretty good without kobe. so if kobe plays it will either be them or the spurs.
i also think that the kings window of opertunity is just about closed.

as much as i want my MAGIC to win it, its not gonna happen, i do predict that they ll make it to the Eastern Finals though.
as for the NBA champs, i'm gonna jump on the wagon along with everyone and say, Lakers. how can you not? they're stacked, if they gel together, they ll win it, kobe or not.
MVP-Give it up for my man T-Mac!
ROY- Melo
hottest jersey to wear this season- Bulls, No. 33, Pippen.

they had some of the best matchups in the playoffs and regular season. never forget van gundy runnin on the floor and gettin smacked. that was a great, hard nosed, heated rivalry.

What's up with all the Mavericks love? Is it just regional loyalty, or do you guys actually think they have a shot? They didn't belong in the Conf. Finals last year. They made it cause SAC was banged up. They'll be a playoff team for sure, but no way they reach the Finals.

It's never a sure thing--injuries, trials all can come into play. I am very interested to see the Lakers team develop, on paper they are the favorite but a lot can happen in an 82 game season. I can't wait for the NBA be to come back; I have been watching ESPN Classic since the end of June to tide me over.
