DAAAAAA losers...
Sorry I'm late...I thought Grossman played well, but that INT in the 4th was the turning point. Up until then, they were still in it.
Bears just didnt get enough pressure on Manning, a big credit to his O-line. They pretty much controlled the LoS all day. Not having Tommie Harris was a huge impact...
Just goes to show D dosent always win championships....
Congrats Colts...AFC pwnz...

Featured Article: Grossman collects $1 million bonus in Bears Super Bowl loss?
Chicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman wrapped up $1 million in playoff bonuses in the team's 29-17 Super Bowl loss to Indianapolis Colts, according to BLOOMBERG.
Grossman received a $500,000 bonus for playing in at least 70 percent of the offensive plays during the National Football League's title game yesterday in Miami. Two weeks ago, he earned $500,000 for doing the same thing in the National Football Conference championship game.
In the Super Bowl, the 26-year-old Grossman completed 20 of 28 passes for 165 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He also fumbled twice, losing one. He took every snap as the Bears quarterback.
The $1 million in bonuses almost double Grossman's base salary of $625,000 this season.

Grossman will get a $500,000 bonus for playing 70 percent of the Bears' offensive plays Sunday. He already made a $500,000 bonus for doing the same thing in the NFC championship game.
"I'm happy to collect," he said.
Grossman is making $625,000 in the fourth year of a five-year, $7.6 million contract, which included a $5 million signing bonus. He's to make $785,000 next season.

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Rex Grossman was paid a $1 million bonus for leading the Bears to the Super Bowl. Werder says Chicago had until mid-March to cut the check, but decided to pay Grossman earlier this week. Next up: paying Lovie Smith. (Feb. 04, - 1:36 PM EST

A chunk of his 20 completions came in the final 2 minutes of the game when Indy was playing soft coverage and knew for sure victory was guaranteed. He also fumbled twice on botched exchanges with Kreutz which is really inexcusable...and of course, the worst was the backbreaking INT thrown in the 4th quarter that led to an Indy TD return.

Nicole: Yumchah, don't you think this has gone on long enough? It's time for you to come out of the closet.
Yumchah: ...I'm not, I'm not in the closet.
Nicole: Yes you are, Yumchah. And you need to just end this and come out. [silence] I'm not gonna think any differently of you. Kaite's not gonna think any differently of you. You don't need to be in that closet anymore, Yumchah.
Yumchah: I'm not in here, though.
Nicole: Yes, you are.
Yumchah: I'm not, ...I'm not in the closet.
Nicole: Then how am I talking to you, Yumchah? [silence] Yumchah, you can't hide forever just because the reincarnation of L. Ron Hubbard doesn't like your acting. Come out of the closet, Yumchah. You're not fooling anyone.

speaking of name changes
not sure if this was posted in another thread - but this tard bears fan bet a HUGE wager on the superbowl game:
Chicago Bears fan begins painful name change
DECATUR, Illinois (AP) -- Scott Wiese is a man of his word. But soon his friends will be saying that about Peyton Manning.
Wiese, a die-hard Chicago Bears fan, will legally change his name to that of the Indiana Colts quarterback. He signed a pledge in front of a crowd at a Decatur bar last Friday night, vowing to adopt Manning's name if the Bears lost Sunday's Super Bowl.
The final score was Colts 29, Bears 17.
So on Tuesday, Wiese went to the Macon County Courts Facility and started the process of changing his name.
"I made the bet, and now I've got to keep it," said the 26-year-old, who lives in Forsyth, just north of Decatur.
Wiese will now have to advertise his intention in the local newspaper -- the Herald & Review -- for several weeks and then have a judge give him the OK to become, legally anyway, Peyton Manning.
The men have little in common, Wiese acknowledges.
Manning the quarterback is 30 years old, stands 6-foot-5 and has a contract with the Colts worth more than $100 million.
Wiese is 5-foot-11 and works at a Staples office-supply store for somewhat less.
"I think I kind of represent all Bears fans," he said. "Not that I'm saying they're all idiots like me, but I represent their passion because I really care about my team, you know?"
While he pledged to take on the new identity, Wiese didn't make any promises about how long he would keep it.
