I know that the Russian girl tested positive for an illegal drug, yet they are still letting her skate. Yet, they are not holding medal ceremonies in figure skating because 'it wouldn't be right'? Are they fucking serious? They are saying it is ok to let her participate but then are saying it is not right to have a medal ceremony.... because they know their decision to let her participate is not right??
I'm baffled. What a fuck up by the IOC...

Sounded like they are ok with her doping and will still let her participate but if she medals, nobody gets a medal and there will be no ceremony. If I were the other skaters I would pack my shit and leave. What a slap in the face of the other true competitors.

And it's not the IOC who allowed her to skate, it was the CAS who cleared her to compete from my understanding.

I'm finding myself watch much more of this Olympics than I expected. Wayyy more than the past summer Olympics.
I think the skiing/snowboarding slopestyle and jump events (not the long jump) are great to watch. Hell, I even find myself watching Biathlon and Cross Country every now and then.
I would watch hockey but since the NHL isn't participating... I'm not watching any.
