I'm actually very upset over the dog's population. It's horrible. In Russia there is no laws for dog's owners to obey. You buy a dog and next day you can abandon it. They are killing hundreds of dogs right now by poisoning them. Sochi had this problem for decades. It's sad. F@ck Putin.

I don't think people are really complaining, just talking about what they see. I had plenty of interesting stories from my trip to Russia (which happened over 22 years ago) but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my time there, it was a beautiful place but it was different than what you were used to.
Unfortunately, they are seeing a summer resort that has been transformed into a winter one that isn't complete and they did have a lot of time to get the job done. Being that the games haven't "really" started they have nothing else to talk about.

This is like inviting your family and friend's to your house for a party or holiday months in advance, and then have the house trashed and dirty, no working or disgusting bathrooms, water unfit to drink, etc.

I can't believe how many people are believing the media propaganda on how bad Sochi is. How ironic that most of the world hates Putin. Since people can't remember the true spirit of the Olmypics they will continue to find reason to be miserable.

I don't think anybody is expecting 5-star accommodations, but basic amenities and being able to shower, working doorknobs, privacy, etc, need to be provided. Since these aren't being met, they deserve all the bashing they're getting.
