PHOENIX (1) vs. MEMPHIS (8)

Phoenix in 4 don't need that much "D" against memphis. i'd rather see the clippers (with maggette healthy) instead of memphis IMO

MIAMI (1) vs. NEW JERSEY (8)

Miami in 6 shaq might not play the first game and RJ is more than likely gonna be back for the playoffs, plus carter has been ballin'

SAN ANTONIO (2) vs. DENVER (7)

SA in 4 if spurs stay healthy, they'll sweep

DETROIT (2) vs. PHILADELPHIA (7)

Detroit in 5 is webber even playing? detroit has too many defensive players for any of the 76ers offense to get on the roll. maybe iverson will do what he does but iguodala and korver won't do anything

SEATTLE (3) vs. SACRAMENTO (6)

Seattle in 6 kings have too many injuries. the last game, pedja, bibby, and miller didn't play. these guys are not 100%. jackson and mobley are a nice back court. seattle has ray allen, nuff said. lewis, ridnour and murray will do their part - as long as they don't get cold feet

BOSTON (3) vs. INDIANA (6)

Indiana in 7 just coz i want reggie to get a chance at winning a ring

DALLAS (4) vs. HOUSTON (5)

Dallas in 5 since nash left the team, Dallas's defense has gotten better

CHICAGO (4) vs. WASHINGTON (5)

Chicago in 5 bulls all the way :wish: don't care what anyone says, Hinrich is their best player! hope chandler plays the way he did before the injury

Tunaboy Apr 21, 2005 06:14 PM

:Offtopic: My parents are season ticket holders for the Heat and today we figured out we were chosen as Co-captains, which means we get to meet in the middle of the court w/ all the captains. Thought that was pretty cool. btw heat will dominate all

Acuraluvr Apr 21, 2005 06:15 PM

oops...... wrong way Detroit>76ers

Only one I really disagree with. Bibby is fine, he was just resting for the game. Peja will be back.

i thought he had an ankle injury. then again, those are usually not serious. i may have to take kings then if bibby is 100%. coz bobby will back bibby up and that's trouble right there for seattle. bobby don't score as much but he racks up stats in the other department - rebounds, steals, assists. this will be an interesting match up

yeah I'm really looking forward to this one.

I believe Bibby is 100%.

and they activated bobby by putting peja on the IL, so to have them both I guess they need to put someone else on the IL?

I think Detroit will have their hands full with Miami, especially since they dont have home court. If they can steal a game they should win the series. The only team that really scares me is Phoenix. Those guys can ball, but I dont know how they'd fare against a great defensive team like Detroit.

CL Platano Apr 22, 2005 09:05 AM

Phoenix will have trouble with a healthy Duncan..

badboy Apr 22, 2005 09:07 AM

RJ will be back in the lineup for NJ.....but so will Shaq.

agranado Apr 22, 2005 09:10 AM

Ha, you wish, Miami cannot take the Spurs. It would be an intersting game, but Spurs will eventually triumph.

Same here....It would have been really interesting to see how they would have done. The team is young and this playoff experience will pay off down the road.

The Bulls played pretty well yesterday. Nocioni had an amazing game with 25 points and 18 rebounds. The officials were horrible last night for the first 3 quarters. Seems like the officials have been reading about the whiners complaining about Nocioni.

Finals: Spurs vs Miami. I don't think anyone can stop these teams in their respective conferences. The two best players in the league matching up against each other will make it interesting.

Dallas won't lose the Houston series.

Go Mavs!

Mavs have no answer for T-Mac and the matchup problems he creates. They'll run him off pick and rolls every time. Their only hope is that Dirk shoots over 60% every game.

Heat Will Win It All, Bottom Line, Cant Stop My Boy Wade!

Wade is nothing without Shaq...he has alot to learn still. He has potential.

WTF? I should put you on ignore for saying something so stupid. Wade isnt as good without Shaq, but he is still a phenomenal player

Wade can be stopped, it's Shaq whom no one properly sizes up against. Miami is going to have a tough time with Detroit.

darrinb Apr 25, 2005 10:45 AM

my prediction is detroit vs houston in the finals, t-mac can def take his team far he he keeps up the way hes been playing

I am going to have to agree with BadBoy to an extent. Shaq is the reason why Miami is sucessful. A Shaq-less Miami wouldn't be much of a playoff threat.

You are pretty funny. Of course a shaq less Miami wouldnt be as good, same with all the other teams that have 2 all stars.

So you are going to tell me you are going to discount Detroit? At least give Larry Brown and last years championship a little respect. Again, Miami will have a tough time with Detroit. It will go to game 6 or 7.

Amoeba Apr 25, 2005 10:57 AM

Yes I will discount Detroit, i can care less if it goes to game 7, miami will still beat them in the series, so since you think detroit will give them so much trouble put $20 down

After that last post, quit talking about basketball because you don't know what you are talking about. I never stated that Miami won't beat Detroit, rather I said they will give them a hard time. You would be a fool to think that the series will be a cakewalk. Detroit is still a force to be reckoned with.

Never said the series will be a cakewalk, but Miami will win it bottom line and thats all that matters. And since Dwayne Wade is nothing, lets see what his stats are like when they play detroit, he doesnt take 30 shots a game like that joke iverson, hes a lot more efficient then most of the elite point guards in the league
