Finally...a start of an NFL season rid of the Shethlete.

I am not well. Though, really, my cynicism already was there -- Fackers lose Favre, no problem. They lose KAaron, no problem.
Rivalry? Is there a GB/Chicago rivalry if it is so 1-sided? This is not a rivalry, this is called tragic comedy.
Also fuming that I started Lamar over Tua and thought Skyy Moore would do something. Just an all round weekend of I-hate-football.

So, despite the failboat that is Trey, we can agree though that the 9ers have some rhyme and reason to their madness: You have an insane D and an offense with studs on the line, TE, WR...with a Mr. Irrelevant QB who has an arm that reminds me of Kyle Orton. Is this enough to get far? Frankly, if you ask me: I think so.
To me, I still think it's the system. It's the cast. More than ANY sport, I think the NFL is not ONE player despite what the Shethlete fans insist. Sure, the QB still has to make the passes but what if the WRs have terrible hands? What if their routes suck? What if there is no O-line to give that QB to make that pass? What if the play-calling is predictable?

Suspect it may be close. Jets have a Bowl-ready D. It was just their popgun offense that was kinda inept last season. We'll see if a change in QB and the weapons they acquired actually amount to much or they are the Lions of the AFC...

... My prediction: Rodgers suffers a season (and potentially career) ending injury in week 3. The Jets are forced to bring in Streveler because they still don't have confidence in Wilson. They finish the season 5-12, release Wilson, and draft another rookie QB in the first round of the 2024 draft. And thus, The Broadway Joe Curse lives on.

Division rival or not you never wanna see that happen. It's too bad because that defense is gonna be a real problem for other teams
