Just because a season ends doesn’t mean people stop talking about it. You locked a thread in the middle of a conversation for no reason other than “we usually do it this way”.

I say this as a member who is wondering the same thing that other members surely are. What’s the point of shutting down conversation that isn’t a shit show?

Deal.

Dr. Dre didn’t change his line, “still not loving tha police.” Definitely a milder protest than the other lines that were changed, but same message.

That's all I had.

I was never huge fans of any of these artists but I wasn't a hater of any by any means - I thought the show was good to be honest. I was glad they didn't go off the rails with some kind of over the top protest-type thing. Maybe they had some subtle things in there I didn't catch. But overall enjoyable. I liked the variety with each artists having a moment - liked that better than say one artists doing 5 or 6 songs.

Now, no record company will sign M&M.

I think the way he did it was just right - during a performance it's hard to tell between performance and protest. I'd call it more of a symbolic gesture in my book. It didn't seem to cause too big a ruckus.

Agree. I didn’t think anything of it until I saw discussions and articles about it.

I thought he was paying tribute to Tupac... well i guess i was over thinking it haha

I think the show was great.. But i wish they would have at least put up a pix of tupac when they played his song.

Yea. that’s what I thought too when I saw him kneel, because Dre started playing I ain’t mad at cha on the piano.

I was also hoping they would have a tribute or hologram to Tupac. But I guess playing his music was sufficient enough as a tribute.
i also thought they might’ve done something for Nipsey? I’m not familiar with him but supposedly he had a big influence.

and yes at 50, I posted a meme last page about his inflation to a dollar

I dont know anyone who is offended, I think some of the media really trying to make something out of nothing.
No one even cared until they keep bring it up.

If it was ok for some people outside the stadium protesting against vaccines and masks, then what is the big deal kneeling during "i aint mad at cha"? It is not even the national Anthem... some ppl....

I too, believe it is the media trying to cause a stir. Kaep is a thing of the past, nobody gives a shit out the guy anymore. Lets not keep him relevant!
