It's probably hard on him to wait, but I think it will be the best thing for him. Miami's got themselves a competitive team this year. I'm a big fan of Gaskin too just because he's an ex-Huskey. I think having a year to really heal, get strong, learn will do Tua good.

Hope he stays healthy man, your team has looked promising. Not saying that just because your team utterly rekt the 49ers, but since Flores somehow eked out the wins.

I remember when last year people were saying the Dolphins were gonna win 2-3 games.

Fitzmagic can be a bit boom or bust, but he's exciting. It's terrible to have your team doing well and not have fans there to enjoy it with them. I imagine Miami fans would be drinking this all in at home games and rightfully so.

Wow, Murray is really a small QB.

So, off of Dallas turnovers, it was 21 points for the Cards. Without the gifts, it'd be a 7-3 game. Man, Cowboys are just gifting this game to Phoenix.

Now, Murray is 9 for 24 in passing. It's not like he's having a surgical game here either. Cowboys gave this game to Cards.

Going up against Murray is a damn headache. Ask me how I know.

Also Mike Nolan is an awful coach. Ask me how I know.

So, he's a tinier version of Vick a la Lamar Jackson. Meh. Right setup usually gets them because as much as a RB-pseudo-QB wants to take the NFL by storm, well, if it was really THAT successful, you'd think more would try it? It's a gimmick but a traditional pocket passer with some mobility still does the trick.

I mean, my supremely hated overrated QB that played for a bunch of cheats in NE pulled it off and we know Brady runs as well as ImpeachedDon with bone spurs...How many Superbowls does Vick have? Dunno...not sold on the ultra-scrambly QB setup TBH. Brain is not wired properly to be a QB if in the back of his mind, he's ready to take off to try to juke his way to a few yards.

THAT being said...this is coming from a guy who cheers for a team in Chicago that does not know if a QB slapped them on the face. So, I mean, what do I know about QBs.

He's more of a Russell Wilson to me. Didn't watch him in college, but he has shown he can win with his arm. Kyler looks to run more and doesn't take care of the ball as well as Mr. Unlimited did even in his earlier years, but is more explosive when running.

I wouldn't count the mobile QB factor out these days. Just another wrinkle for offenses to use. The archetypical statue-in-the-pocket QBs is falling by the wayside. Look at the (QB) MVPs from the past couple seasons and candidates going forward; Mahomes, Jackson, Wilson, Rodgers, Allen.

His office still has a ton of 49ers memorabilia. It's why I could never hate on that son-mouth-kisser. Just one example of how 49ers fans make the best NFL QBs.

Oh let me be clear, I'm differentiating between a QB who can scramble versus one whose play is almost a coin toss TO scramble (i.e. Vick/Jackson/Murray). To me, Mahomes, who is probably the "next" (he's arrived pretty much) franchise QB, he's still more of a passer than a runner. So, I'd still consider him the former per my classification here. I'm not sold on the effectiveness of Jackson-types in other words. They are kind of the sexy thing in offenses but end of the day, you need to throw the football. Otherwise, why not just line up with a RB at center and have a tailback as well?

Those were softballs though, I wouldn't say they were even mean. Opportunity lost I think. If they were trying to recreate Kimmel's mean tweets, they should have picked the savage ones. Not, "have a bad birthday"

Dunno how many previous episodes there were, but one of the earlier ones they did was pretty wholesome.

True -

I think it would be genuinely funny to read real ones though - troll the haters.

I was like at the holding on the defense to give that half-distance-to-goal for 1st and goal. Then, I was again at the personal foul 15 yarder on the Eagles that put them back to the 18 yard line.

I'm like at this game.

If I were in Philly I'd find Wentz's lack of consistency really frustrating. At times he looks like the most dangerous QB in the game and other times he looks like a rookie in his first game. I think he may just have too much river boat gambler in him and doesn't realize he loses more than he wins. He'd be a top tier QB if it weren't for the self-inflicted mistakes he makes. Something he should know by now.....
