Given that he's been sucker punched and had his nose broken, and had a concussion earlier this year I can't fault him for going down with contact to the head. I don't think it should have been a roughing the passer call, but in this day and age who even knows what roughing the passer is, I didn't think Clay Matthew's tackle the other night was roughing the passer either

Oh yeah, the new QB nanny rules are completely BS. Refs are simply carrying out what the league instilled and now they are seeing their mistake. Absolutely most of these roughing the passer QB p penalties are BS.

But yeah big ben was flopping big time, barely any hand contact....haven't seen something that floppy since windows 95

My comment after JPP hit him was, "Big deal, he only hit him with like 2 1/2 fingers anyway"

Some guy a comment about Garoppolo's ACL: "another 49er QB who won't stand for the anthem"

My literal reaction:

I'm not a terrible person, I just have an awful sense of humor.

Regarding Mahones, Mark Sanchez started his career 3-0 too.

Had a good time in Carolina, but they need a new stadium. No party deck

I liked Aaron Donald's sack where he just slung Cousins to the ground. Surprised it wasn't called a penalty

Good story on the Chiefs Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. Med school and the NFL at the same time

We were talking about that last night at bowling as well. We were all waiting for a flag. If it were called, I'd be more lost at how you tackle a quarterback than I am already... Rams look good, real good!

I didn't realize the Browns had to beat both Oakland and the refs. Two game-altering bad calls. On to OT, but never should have got there.

Cook was still banged up Thursday. He'll come back strong. We were relying on a pass offense and still put up 28 on the Rams. Need that running game back if we are even going to contest.

Hey Ack. Being from a state with 2 teams what made you decide your team?

Oh man, I really do feel for you. Last time the Steelers had a losing record was 2003!!!!

Who I really feel bad for is Earl Thomas. He flipped off the Seahawks sideline as he was being carted off. I don't blame him at all. Makes Leveon Bell seem a little more justified.

Teams and players seem to get stuck at this impasse. That's why I like the 49ers approach to it, heavy on incentives and structured so the team is truly vested in the first year or two only.

No kidding. Bengals/Falcons was a comedy of officiating errors also.

My opponent needs 21 points from Harrison Butkiss tonight to beat me. If not I'm 4-0 in that league, and 3-1 in the other. My one loss was by 0.28 points

Yeah, I hate to rain on anyone's parade but I watched highlights of Trubisky's passes....at least 50% of them were to guys that were essentially uncovered/wide-open.....like as open as a 24/7 wal-mart. Obviously the kid's talented but the Bucs are fully in implosion mode now...fitzmagic finally ran out and they have no defense and lost OJ Howard as well....it'll be a race to the bottom between them and the bills
