It's not dirty, the rules are geared for those type of hits. You can't go high or you risk a personal foul. How many times have you seen a DB hit a defenseless WR in the chest only to get the flag anyway.

The NFL doesn't give two shits about player safety. Its all so they stopped getting sued from CTE complications

DBs always go low. They weigh like 190 lbs. What do you expect?

There was a couple nasty headshots in there as well

On a side note, anyone else think Greg Olsen looks like Dexter? I never noticed it until last night, but apparently I'm not alone.

Overall a good start to the season. Tale of two halves. Carolina's offense looked good in the first half. Looked like Bronco's offense and defense settled in the 2nd half and got lucky on a missed 50 yarder. I do enjoy watching Cam cry and complain when he loses. He sure did look cocky in that first half. He needs to keep maturing and learn to take the ups and downs of a game/season.
Did the NFL come and say why Cam was not evaluated for a concussion when he got crushed and was face down for some time?

Funny how none of the Carolina fanbase is complaining about all of the non-calls for holding on their o-line last night.

If Cam doesn't wanna get hit, he should stop acting like a running back.

Except with that last hit, he was just being a QB trying to run out of the pocket. We ALL know if that exact same play had been Brady the field would have been raining yellow flags

Jerry needs to tint those windows and Williams is a dumbass for not getting out of bounds! Fml. Prescott wasn't bad though.

Fins could've stolen that game from the Seahawks but they blew the FG and Stills should've caught the TD.

Credit to the Fins who came to play, that's for sure. Not sure where the Hawks heads were at. The D saved the day again. I can't figure out how with an entire offseason to get the offense straight, a mostly healthy Jimmy Graham (who gets one target?), a stable of capable receivers and running backs, that we manage two field goals until the game is on the line? Thankful for the win but we'd better sort out the offense quick.

This just in - Brady found in possession of a voodoo doll of the long snapper. Details at 10.

I haven't read much yet since the writers I follow haven't watched tape yet. I know the D Line was somewhat disrupting and I think I've heard Seattle's o-line isn't super strong this year. Between Suh, Mario Williams (sack), and Jordan Phillips (For Fumble). Miami's safeties also played well. That last drive was telling because we lost Williams to a concussion and Phillips was also hurt.

RG3 placed on injured reserved after hurting shoulder in Browns' opener - CBSSports.com

I guess he should stay in the league as long as someone will pay him because he isn't going to make this good of money anywhere else but then he'll probably be in a wheelchair by the time he's 40....so maybe not

Bet Goodell isn't happy and how about Palmer talking crap about Brady and he can't even beat Brady's back up.....................

All that aside, no complaints about Jimmy G's play last night.

What a joke.

I dont understand why QB's stick out their arms when the go to the ground. Tuck your arm and try to roll out do the impact as much as possible.

Just an overall great game to watch. Not a single ESPN analyst said the Pats would win. Love it

Thank you football gods. AB with 2 TD and 100 yards for the win!

That's a great win for the Pats even with no Brady nor Gronk. I had picked up Bennett who did shit in place of Gronk but they didn't need him apparently.

49ers have to travel to Carolina and play a very pissed off team in their own house...then they get to come up to Centurylink....that's a rough couple of away games.

I was sitting super pretty coming into that last MNF game. The Rams shitting the bed almost made me lose, I had Gurley and Rams D. Luckily I won by a couple points thanks to Big Ben and D. Will earlier that night. Man, the Rams looked BAD. And vs Seattle, Gurley shall be benched.
