Mother fucking Blair Walsh and Vikes D combined for -1 fantasy points. And singlehandedly lost me my fantasy matchup .

I knew I should have went with the KC defense. Seriously, gotta stop listening to these 'experts' opinions.

^ I grabbed the Tampa defense this week because Mark Sanchez. 18 points. Just stream whoever is playing Philly.

And I left Doug Martin on the bench along with his 28.5 points....

I'm praying for the cowboys. I never want to see the Gmen in the playoffs again as long as I live

They are the only team I'll ever worry about facing

Only because we wanted to be in the far left column.

You never know - Seattle can be a strange team sometimes, in that they almost need to be in desperate conditions before the real fire gets lit under them.

What do you want to talk about? The fact that your kicker missed his first field goal of the year after it? That the refs incorrectly ran the last two seconds off the clock after it? Or that your team still won?

We've talked about missed calls, catch/no catch all season in this thread. Why is this any different?

Not sure why your panties are all in a bunch.

I'm going commando today.

Not sure why you phrased your question the way you did when you could have just brought up the topic and given your take. I didn't see it live, but to me, the replay shows that 1) Rex wasn't focused on the side judge, 2) the side judge made a mistake by blowing his whistle instead of throwing a flag, 3) the defender was within reach of Amendola when the whistle was blown and less than 10 yards down field, and 4) the correct 15 yard penalty was assessed.

They won the game in spite of some bad calls going against them. Not much to say.

The overall officiating in that game was not very good.

I want to see the video. I understand the behavior history aspect, but "partying" on a bye-week weekend doesn't sound like the most irresponsible thing possible, especially given the behaviors of some of his peers.

A Lawrence Taylor anecdote from a former teammate comes to mind. Apparently LT busted into the locker room one Sunday and exclaimed, "All right boys. Let's see what we can do on 4 hours of sleep and an eight-ball." He then went out and racked up tackles and sacks left and right.

Well, it's the context...He's been in rehab and apparently, read the riot act to quit it with the crazy partying and stay low-key. He said he will.

And now, oops.

Hey 007...

Johnny Manziel has been replaced by Josh McCown as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, the team announced Tuesday.

One week after being named the team's starter, Manziel has been demoted to the third-string quarterback for Monday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens after social media posts surfaced this week showing Manziel allegedly partying last weekend in Texas during the team's bye week.

"Everyone in this organization wants what is best for Johnny just like we do for every player in our locker room. I'm especially disappointed in his actions and behavior because he has been working very hard," head coach Mike Pettine said in a statement.

"The improvements from last year to this year have been tremendous but he still has to consistently demonstrate that he has gained a good understanding of what it takes to be successful at the quarterback position on this level. It goes well beyond the field. We are going to continue to support him in every way possible, but at this point, we've decided it's best to go with Josh as the starter going forward."

Pettine had said earlier Tuesday that he was "not in position yet" to say whether Manziel would start Monday night and that the team was gathering information on the incident.

"It's a little easier to handle when it's just a one-time occurrence, but when behavior repeats, not just him but with anybody, it's certainly a cause for concern," Pettine said.

He added: "You have a vision of what you want the team to look like, how you want them to handle themselves when they're out of the building. We talk a lot about it ... so when things like this happen -- and not just him, but just in general -- any team when you have incidents like that [where] a guy knows that he represents more than himself and has issues off the field, it is frustrating."

McCown (ribs) has been cleared to play, Pettine said earlier Tuesday, and is "good to go" for Monday night's game.

"He's a prisoner of his success," Browns linebacker Karlos Dansby said of Manziel, who did not speak to reporters Tuesday.

Manziel had been named the Browns' starter after he threw for 372 yards in the 30-9 loss to the Steelers on Nov. 15. When he was named the starter, Pettine talked to him about properly representing the team. Manziel promised before the bye week that he was "not going to do anything that's going to be a distraction to this team or be an embarrassment to the organization."

Last month, Manziel made headlines after witnesses reported him driving dangerously on an interstate highway and his girlfriend said he had gotten physical with her in the car. Manziel was questioned by police, who smelled alcohol on Manziel's breath but did not give him a field sobriety test because he showed no signs of inebriation. Just last week, the NFL announced Manziel would not face discipline for the incident.

Manziel spent 10 weeks in a treatment facility during the offseason for undisclosed reasons.

I read it. You drafted a 21 year old and gave him millions (a few more than he already had). He's what, 22 or 23 now, and you expect him to stay at home with his girlfriend every weekend?

I call bullshit until I see the damage it really did. He didn't shoot anyone, didn't shoot himself, didn't blow off his hand with explosives, crash his car or evade police at 110 mph, or choke out his girlfriend. He apparently went to a party. The Browns should just stock their team with 30 year fathers of three if their ultimate goal is an image.

Not arguing with you. But, if my employer (EMPLOYER) told me that as a condition to my job (i.e. starting QB) and my salary that I'm to hold off on wild parties and just have well, quiet and small ones with close friends...I'd do it?

Again, I think it's the fact that Johnny got read the riot act after the last incident and he was on a zero-tolerance sort of deal at this point.

That is the thing, you are suppose to wake the fuck up when you get to the pros. Only damage is to himself, because he won't get past his rookie contract of eight million dollars. And then he's just some wanna Justin Bieber......

There are probably 20+ teams that would love to have him backing up their starting QB and are more interested in winning than if their 22 year old QB went to a party on his week off.

I understand their reasons, but the resction seems drastic (3rd string). And I doubt Johnny would have trouble finding another place to play. It asks sets a precedent for guys considering playing for Cleavland.

It's Tyler Seguin all over again. That dude was out every night in Boston. Management had an image problem with him and shipped him to Dallas.

Now pc principle wants little Johnny in bed by 8pm on his weekend off and Browns management has to listen

Oh he may catch on to another team. But it won't be for $$$$, and if he keeps it up, he'll be out of the league.
