He's an interim solution while Mariota matures Heard rumor Phi might try to trade up to get him. Sort-of makes sense given the history.

In other news, the New England Patriots have franchise-tagged their ball-deflaters.

Someone watched Draft Day

Rolle to Bears is official as well as Royal.
Coughlin gets a 1 year extension to offset lame duck status.
Bills release TE Scott Chandler making way for ex-Fin Charles Clay?

I like the signing of Rolle and Royal...both will help. Although, I have to wonder given Rolle's age, how much does he have left in the tank.

Still, his experience will help that awful Bears secondary. Royal is a nice signing and should fill the hole left with Marshall's trade...and with less baggage. Let's see now if Cutler can throw to him instead of the opposing defenders.

Murray flying to Philly with the 'intent' to sign for them

If that happens, we'll happily welcome AP.

I doubt AP plays in Minn again. The way hes been talking about upper management lately sounds like a holdout/trade is coming

Well, Murray agreed to a deal with Philly. 5 year, $42 million deal, including $21 million guaranteed. No way was Dallas going to pay that much.

Would be awesome if the Eagles blow this coming season.

Let's see who they throw to though Jordan Matthews looks good. Maybe Riley comes back better.

Free agency may have began Tuesday, but the biggest news in the NFL yesterday was the Seahawks acquiring Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham from the Saints.

Graham has been one of, if not the most dominant tight end in the NFL, with 85 catches or more in his last four seasons, with two seasons of over 1,000 receiving yards and three seasons with 10 or more touchdown receptions. Graham has 386 receptions for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns in his five-year career.

The oddsmakers at Bovada noticed, making the Seahawks 5/1 favorites to win Super Bowl 50, up from 11/2.

^ Did the oddsmakers factor in the NE Cheats deflating footballs and Carroll NOT giving the football to Beastmode from the 1 yardline?

Cuz, if they didn't...those odds suck. It's still 12312344214-1 for Patriots.

Gronk is without a doubt the most dominant tight end.

That's cuz soft, supple balls are easier to hold and catch.

Agreed and Gronkowski is a much better blocking TE.

I forgot to link the article, but it's from a Seahawk news site. So, you know, fair and unbiased reporting.

Considering Cameron might get hurt on the way to sign his contract, that might be wise.

The Dallas Cowboys have moved quicker than expected on filling at least part of the hole left by DeMarco Murray's departure by agreeing to a two-year deal with Darren McFadden, according to a source.

And at McFadden joining the Cowboys. I guess DeMarco Murray was just way too robust & healthy for them.

Well Murry was a cheap keeper for me in FFB. Now he time shares with Matthews? Probably a no-brainer keeper anyway, but I liked him better when he got 85% of the carries.

Not bad... I still think they need a legit #1 WR to play opposite Jarvis Landry, but I guess after signing Suh, they don't have the funds to go after somebody like Demaryius Thomas. I suppose Landry, Stills and Wallace @ WR + Cameron (for however long he stays healthy) and Clay @ TE is a better set of targets than Tannehill had last year.

Wallace I think can still be a legit #1 but Tannehill's long range accuracy is horrid.

CJ Spiller to the Saints.
