Still served two games, but they can't figure out what to do with Hardy who choked out his girl.

If I had to take multiply urine tests as part of a work contract, I'd would have another lab running test as well.

Sure. But, hate to say it, this sort of "whipping" is not new to disciplining of kids IMO. And from my understanding of how things are in the southern US, not uncommon.
Being raised in a strict Asian family, I've been beat pretty badly before for misbehaving or not meeting my parents' expectations.

Baltimore Orioles' Chris Davis Had been suspended for about 20 to 25 five games for amphetamines (Ritalin). He has used it before when he was approved. But he didn't get it approved this year cause he thought he didn't need to and was suspended.

That was classic Buc ball last night! good shit! I got a great laugh out of that. I like how the game didn't resemble anything near a competition until the falcons brought in their backups to face the bucs starters and even the backups scored on the bucs.
Anything less than 0-16 and the season is a failure.

^^^I wouldn't either if I was making $40+ million a year.
And that game was buc'n ridiculous last night. I started V Jackson and played against M Ryan and J Jones. At one point my FF score was close to the real games...58-0. I was happy to at least wake up and see Jackson got a TD. I fully expected a goose egg.

Like, okay...sweeping this sordid stuff under the rug for the sake of $$$$$? Gee, have we not seen this before?
Sure, in MLB, it was about outright cheating but, this is not the first time we've seen a commish turn a blind eye to this stuff. And ultimately, let's not forget who Roger works for: the owners. The owners have a huge say behind the scenes on this stuff and if were not for the public pressure/outrage, this would have gone quietly.
Imagine Rice, Adrian Beatyourson, and Hardy were no-names...easily gone or suspended LONG ago.

Yes he does work for the owners, if you were one of them would you be happy, satisfied, disappointed, or appalled with the job he is doing? He has shown time and time again that he in no way has a feeling for the pulse of the public. If your job is damage control and putting a positive spin on things, you need to have a better understanding of what the public wants.
Seriously, does anyone actually believe what he is saying in this press conference or has he lost all credibility in the eyes of the public?

Ravens Alleged Attempted Cover-up On Rice
Wow.
If what ESPN is reporting is true, not having their star RB is the least of Baltimore's problems.
And then, Goodell apparently took a "favor" from the Ravens' owner (again, proving Roger works for his employers) to give Rice the initial 2-gamer.
Sordid details here: How the Ray Rice scandal unfolded between the Baltimore Ravens, Roger Goodell and the NFL - ESPN

This is a snippet from the link of the Raven's sordid dealings...along with the League's. Yow.
The Ravens also consulted frequently with Rice's Philadelphia defense attorney, Michael J. Diamondstein, who in early April had obtained a copy of the inside-elevator video and told Cass: "It's f---ing horrible." Cass did not request a copy of the video from Diamondstein but instead began urging Rice's legal team to get Rice accepted into a pretrial intervention program after being told some of the program's benefits. Among them: It would keep the inside-elevator video from becoming public.
For its part, the NFL -- which in other player discipline cases has been able to obtain information that's been sealed by court order -- took an uncharacteristically passive approach when it came to gathering evidence, opening itself up to widespread criticism, allegations of inconsistent approaches to player discipline and questions about whether Goodell gave Rice -- the corporate face of the Baltimore franchise -- a light punishment as a favor to his good friend Bisciotti. Four sources said Ravens executives, including Bisciotti, Cass and Newsome, urged Goodell and other league executives to give Rice no more than a two-game suspension, and that's what Goodell did on July 24.
Most sources spoke with "Outside the Lines" on the condition of anonymity, citing the NFL's just-launched, self-described independent investigation by Robert S. Mueller III, the former FBI chief, which is being overseen by John Mara, the New York Giants' owner, and Art Rooney II, the Pittsburgh Steelers' co-owner. Mara and Rooney are close confidants of Goodell's. The interviews, viewed together, paint a picture of a league and a franchise whose actions -- and inaction -- combined to conceal -- or ignore -- the graphic violence of Rice's assault. When evidence of it surfaced anyway, the NFL and the Ravens quickly shifted gears and simultaneously attempted to pin the blame on Rice and his alleged lack of truthfulness with Goodell about what had happened inside the elevator.

That was an excellent article and certainly worth the long read. It actually backs up Rog's claim of not seeing the video which shows how lax their treatment in the matter was. Seems like Rice is airing out the dirty laundry and threw Ravens owner Biscotti under the bus. Very fascinating info...
