Part of it is preparation, schemes and reads too. With the thousands of things Peyton does before the snap he usually knows where to go with the ball before it's even snapped.

See: Kerry Collins in week 1

I don't think any of the Colts o-line was injured, were they? He still looked like a mess.

Watching the giants/rams.. I've never understood the hype over Eli Manning... Granted he throws a decent ball from time to time, but in between those good throws, his passes are getting batted down, hes throwing picks (25 last year).

I still remember him thinking he was too good to play for San Diego. I don't like the Patriots at all and I cheer for the underdog but I was rooting for them in that one SB that the Giants won

didn't really care about "the perfect season" just didn't wanna see that crybaby win.

He would have a 1100000.8 rating if he had the Pats O-line.

Because he's Peyton's brother and Archie's son and got lucky to win a SB with a pretty damn good defense to get him there. He's mad that people don't think he's a top 5 QB in the league.

The Pats are my favorite AFC team. I'd love to see them finish what they started and go 19-0.

I've always hated Eli. Never thought he was that great of a QB and also feel he got the hype due to his last name. Plus, he got that SB ring because Burress decided to stick gum on top of his helmet and make a ridiculous catch when they needed it.

Aaron Hernandez out 1-2 weeks with a sprained MCL. Pats will probably still win another way.

Any Chiefs fans? I'm reading with Charles out Thomas Jones would share the workload with the 3rd stringer. Apparently the 3rd stringer might be a better play in PPR leagues.

I hope it's a close game. Hopefully Romo is a go, sucks that Austin may be out until the Cowboys bye week in mid-October. Bryant looks gimpy too. IDK how good Skins really are, will have to see them in action.

hopefully that means more touches for gronkowski . I put him as like my #1 TE in fantasy, and I think people thought i was weird. Brady loves his TE's though

I hope neither of them play for our sake. D hall has been decent covering top receivers but he can get burnt on a couple of HUGE plays like when Larry Fitzgerald burned him for 73 yard TD. Our defense has been playing lights out lately though. Seems like they finally got how to play that 3-4. Hightower and Helu and studs in the run game.

today they were saying 1-6 weeks for Hernandez, good thing we have a pair of Gronkowski's now.

Dan Koppen was put on the IR today.

I agree, but it would worry me more if our offense was bad. Our run D is good, which means teams pass more. We give up a lot of yardage underneath because of the 3-4 and when we don't get to the QB fast, they have an easy out. As long as we get the stops when we need to, we'll be alright. Plus, Capers is a defense master. He always seems to have an answer to cover where we are lacking.

Also, Tramon Williams is participating in practice, so he'll be back soon.

One cant simply look at numbers. 1 team is a great team and sure they got some big yards, the other we started out really flat and i think caught off guard in the 1st half. But i look at it as we allowed them to use the clock to our advantage We will overcome and get better.

Meh...I'm not his biggest fan, but he has zero chance. His receivers are mediocre and that O-line is an absolute joke.

How can you blame him for anything right now? Hell, look at past Chicago QBs now showing some success: Grossman and Orton. Is it the player or the tools he has to work with...?

I'd say the latter. If Smith et al don't make some adjustments, I'd wager that Cutler will be carried off on a gurney this weekend.
