On a semi-serious (or not note), :ibkyrietradedtolelakers:...cuz, they must have...everyone.

On a semi-serious note, I hope Kyrie just stays in Brooklyn so he can implode that team. I enjoy the chaos and watching these super-teams blow up.

If that guy ends up with the Lakers, I'm going to hate the team even more and this is coming from someone that lived most of his life in SoCal 😒
I was willing to like them again as soon as Lebron left... But them two together on that roster?

From what I'm reading, they need a 3rd team to step in. But, it can work. They have those future 1st rounders that can be packaged here for Brooklyn. The funnier thing is how the Nets are now screwed as Kevin-No-Shoulders will want out too. That team is finished if this goes through.

GMs who let players dictate the terms are hosed in the NBA and well, that's sorta the format these days. Not a fan of it and just happy to see the colluding players and those teams go up in flames.

If the Anti-Semite does go to LeLakers, he'll help them be competitive but I do not see them getting to the Finals.

Congrats LBJ6 on taking over the all time scoring title. You're still a flop in my eyes!

Meh. Via super-teaming with basically the Conference All-Stars with him.

Kareem >>>>>> LeMeh.

Stuck like Chuck with him.

Westbrook out of LA for those who don't know. Utah will probably cut him.

Yeah, some big trades...but, ultimately, I think Durant going to Suns -- contingent on him staying healthy -- will have the biggest impact, IMO.

West goes through Phoenix now, I guess?

I think Nuggets are still the top dogs but let's see if the Suns gel. Suns should make 4th seed unless Dallas pulls away now that they have Kyrie. Where the hell are the Warriors though?

I just am unsure how good defensively the Warriors are. But, I guess they are in the conversation.

Meanwhile, Bulls are just...

All-Star game was awful and poor LeBron touched the rim and hurt his finger... Dude can't play a regular season game when it matters but can play a BS All-Star game. All for the attention. ME ME ME, I am LeBron the all time leading scorer but I will sit and watch my team lose because I am the best.

The NBA ASG is broken. Basically it was watching superstars toss open 3-pointers and layups all game. Boring AF.

The issue with the League is this new diva-like culture: I think Karl Malone missed 8 games total in his career? MJ played with the flu. Now, if a star's team is not contending, pout their way out to play with their other star buddy on some other team and it's play every 2nd game. I know I'm over-the-top on my 'hate' but I seriously blame the genesis of this garbage to when LeBron, Wade, and Bosh did what they did when they joined the Heat. It's been total downhill since.

And I know I'm biased...but, listening to this stuff about where LeBron stands in the pantheon of great players...garbage again. The fouls called today don't get even looked at back when Jordan was playing. LeBron going against that Pistons defense? He would've retired already and quit.

Anyways...I still love the sport but hard to enjoy it sometimes.

I am just so sick of reading, according to LeBron this or that gets old. He's just a player of the game, and now with his kid close to the NBA its going to be even worse.

Its just extremely sad the day he broke the scoring record he sat the whole 4th quarter and watched his team lose that game. And then sit the next 2 as well. It was critical to win it since they are needing to win 75% of their remaining games to make the play in games.

Dame time went off last night for 71pts! 13-3pts made. Someone should do a voice over adding in "from down town", "heating up", "he's on fire".

In other news, LeBum heard something pop.

Part of the "random" drug testing.

why was he sooooo unhappy in Brooklyn? Because The Nets are going postseason, and he failed in Dallas... it's like a double whammy on him

Seems like the League is going to investigate the Mavs for tossing the game.

I was watching Udonis Haslem's last regular season game yesterday. Dude's still got it. 20+ points, 3's, alley oop dunk. Insane he's 42. Longest tenure of an undrafted player all time at 20 years. Plus 20 years at the same club which is 2nd to Dirk I believe.

To keep the topics (playoffs/games vs. signings/draft) separate, I think there is still value.

I like basketball but it's lost some of its allure for me...I've posted about my issues with it. Though, would it be fair to say I'd whine less if the Bulls were very good? Maybe...hard to say.
