Not to be biased, but Lebron couldn't win a championship for the life of him before going to Miami. I am 50/50 about player movement. We can't hold a player that doesn't want to be in a certain city but at the same time, teams don't get any rap about trading a player that is in the best interest of the team regardless of cap or making the team better in their minds. On the other side, I don't like the hostage tactics hold that some players have of teams. It does suck for fans of their teams that get shafted like New Orleans, but I don't think there is a good solution to this. In the end, players and organizations need to realize that fans are the ones who are the important ones. Without fans, there is no money or TV deals.

Lakers tanked for a decade before coming up again. At the end, all the Stars are the ones drawing viewership.... imagine NBA is being played with bunch of nobody and all the trade and drama is what makes it interesting....

FWIW, my bishing is just that: bishing. It's the reality of the NBA landscape and I can be a hatter because well, to an extent, it won't and will never happen with Chicago. Per @asianspec , I don't have an elegant answer either and per what I just wrote, it's a reality anyways. But, I also believe in the process of drafting and shrewd acquisitions of depth and from there, getting the team into contention versus this big-band approach...
End of day, I'm just hating.

or i am sure Houston didnt predicate 2 years ago that they could not even make it to the playoff last year.

FWIW, look at what the Thunder used to have and sadly, Harden, KD, Westbrook, and even Ibaka who was pretty decent. That was not through some collusion...it was through drafting and acquisition...the proper moneyball way...and not the big-bang approach -- where a bunch of diva players get together and plot where they want to sign. Again, just hatting. I'll stop. The playoffs are enjoyable at least this year.

But they are full house right now, so why would they do that? I just hope they dont keep increasing the prices.
Unless i get some courtside seat, otherwise i actually prefer to watch the games at home with some friends.... It is weird without the commentators and i usually have to watch the big TV anyway even when i go see in person.. cuz i can't see shit from nosebleed...

We will hire Obama. That is the type of star power we have in LA...

Last years Championship was like a Rec-Ball Tournament. Enjoy that * next to that Championship. Clearly they can't play and win during a regular season.

Yeah... I think whoever comes out of the East now, Hawks w/o Trae or Bucks w/o Giannis (or possibly with them, but injured), are gonna be toast against the PHX. This will be Chris Paul's year to ride off into the sunset (i.e. even more commercials) with a championship ring.
It will still be interesting to see which East team manages to hobble its way to the Finals, when they both have their one good player hurt now, but unless 2 out of 3 of CP3, Booker & Ayton go down, I think the Suns have got it in the bag.
