I'm Down Right Fierce!
^ Damn dude. I didn't catch the game but saw the highlights on Sportscenter last night...
Clippers look legit this season. I know that you must be excited is300eater, since you're a long time clipper fan.
Are the Clippers actually the best NBA team in Los Angeles at the moment?

Yes...no doubt. Still horribly run, however.

So, that kid in NCAA hit 138 points...firing 108 shots.
Somewhere, in NYC, Carmelo just found his excuse.

I say I say, goddamn!
Check the score. There is no mercy in the Westbrook Dojo.

failhard.
That was with all bench and garbage time players too. The starters didn't play the second half. I wonder what the score would have been if Brooks kept KD and Westbrook playing their usual minutes lol.
On the other hand, heard a great diss yesterday.

Did a bit of revisiting just now.
I'm just preaching to the choir of course. These two got robbed, straight up. These are beautiful dunks. Especially Javale's, the sense of appreciation increases tenfold when you see his in slow motion.
Speaking of dunks, check out Terrence Ross tonight. Silky smooth, this guy is.

-Kobe was a ballhog last night and I'm not so hopeful with Steve Nash getting back, like that's gonna solve everything.
-Free throws aren't the only reason why they are losing games, but they'd win the closer ones if they made them.
-Pau Gasol is on the trading block, again....but the people he's being discussed for (A'mare, Josh Smith, Bargnani+Derozan or someone else) I'm not enamored with.
-There's room for growth or getting better, but growing can be painful...

Hmm.. of the list you mentioned, I'd only entertain Bargnani/Derozan... There's no way you get full value for Pau... but least Bargnani is a big that stretches the floor, and Derozan is pretty darn athletic.

Mitch has pulled off some amazing stuff, but GMs know that already and won't let him walk all over them.
Pau is an expiring contract (after next year), and he'd help anyone out this year as a primary post player that can play next to just about anyone due to his myriad of good (but not great) skills. So I think there maybe some value for him because the risk wouldn't be huge. However, no one is feeling any pressure to trade at this point in the year.

I feel bad for Pau he's been on the trading block for seemingly the last 3 years. How can any player maximize their abilities when your constantly wondering where you will be next I know that has to be getting old. If they do end up trading Pau I hope we get good point guard out of the deal we haven't had one of those in years.
Nash isn't the solution to the Lakers problems he solves some and creates more with his lack of defense and he can only play 20 minutes a game anyway. I was kind of shocked that we picked him up seeing as he has been injured on and off the last 3 years and his can only play limited minutes with a diminished skillset this comes with the territory with a 39 yr old player. Sadly even with his diminished skills he is still better than Blake and Morris. To me Duhon is better than Morris so I don't know why D'Antoni is playing Morris so much the guy can't hit open shots.
Mitch and Jim are idiots for dogging PJ and from my inside sources it was on purpose they only acted like he was an option because the fans wanted PJ back but the Lakers didn't really want him back.

almost had him a couple years back for Pau....

True....Lakers were trying to get him from golden state way before Linsanity caught on. He definitely needs that offense to do what he does.

No.
0:55, Garnett plants his foot in that position so he could get up, realizes Rondo is about to start shit and promptly moves his foot out of the way. Hell, the screenshot was taken while he was lifting his foot away. I'm not condoning Rondo's actions here because the dude can make boneheaded rager decisions like this, but it's easy for Cs/KG haters to cherry pick a screenshot then take it out of context.
