Should be interesting with them matching up against the Heat (assuming). Carlisle gave Erik a hell of a time with a team full of vets against the superstar Heat, so I'm definitely interested to see how he coaches against Pop. Heat won both games during the regular season, but they were also just 1-2 possession games to win.
Popovich not only rested his 6 top players he sent them home so they weren't in Florida for that game, Conversely Spo rested Lebron Wade and Chalmers in San Antonio. Yeah the Spurs are undefeated in 4 Finals appearances.

So, explain this: The Spurs can sweep their opponent but the LeHeat with all that universe-altering power can't even beat...the Pacers?!??!???!????!????

That was one of the worst reffed games I've seen in quite some time.

The one that bugged me the most, though, wasn't a ref fuck up, it was the timekeeper's. West tosses a floater and the ball hits the rim, but the shot clock doesn't reset. Hansbrough got the rebound and layup in, but it was called off because the shot clock buzzed. Miami ball, no basket.

That resulted in the Pacers' lead disappearing, I think it was an 11-point swing. HUGE momentum killer.

^ So, you're saying the refs are in cahoots with the LeHeat? Wow...like the greatest sports team in the Universe needs anymore help.

Nah, it was bad for both sides. Wade's travel and Lebron's 6th foul (offensive foul where he stepped on Stephenson's foot as he set a wide screen) were legit, but usually wouldn't get called in such a tight game in crunch time. That's what people would like to believe anyway.

LeWade can take 15 steps before dunking. He's allowed.

But, last night, I counted 16...so, yeah...he had to be nailed. Sigh. Poor LeWade.

There were some headscratching calls but we didn't deserve to win with the horrid rebounding in the 4th. And man did Wade and Bosh have bad games.

Just so that we're clear, LeWade and LeDino having bad games is like Derrick Rose scoring 50 points. So, yeah.

What's sad is, no matter how bad the officiating is, both teams are playing the flopping game.

Of course, its part of the game until they find a way to rule it out, but it sucks.

The Pacers flop. The LeHeat...that's not flopping...they are so talented that they are incorporating gymnastics and diving to show their abilities.

Get it right. Wow. Some people.

Kind of sad, really because a lot of basketball fans in general don't seem to give 'em credit. They did finish 3rd in the East & won against Miami 2-1 in the regular season, so this isn't some team people (not pointing out Yummy really) should expect Miami to walk.

but they are a really good team. I guess its because they aren't flashy as Miami in many ways but they are a team that shouldn't be under-estimated.

They remind me a lot of San Antonio, just younger & still have a bit to learn on closing games.

I remember during last year's series Barkley told LeBatard that he'd rather have Paul George over Chris Bosh. I'm seeing why although Bosh has been asked to do stuff he's never done.

Oh and we got lucky Birdman didn't get ejected.

Birdman's suspension is ridiculous the NBA is becoming weaker and weaker every year.

The fact that the LeHeat need 7 games and not 1 to take out the Pacers is hilarious.

Now, excuse me.

So, if the unthinkable happens, methinks LeWade, LeBron, LeAllen, LeBirdman, LeChalmers, LeUdonis, and LeRaptor will want to sign with Indiana when they are UFAs.

Although i might be bias, i disagree. Although Wade is playing hurt. he is hurting the team if he cant score or have confidence in his shot. I rather see Mike Miller get more time if wade isn't healthy. But maybe in the world's mind its Lebron's team, but here in Miami its still Wade's team.

Even if LeWade had only his little toe left, it should be enough to beat ANY team on the planet. No excuses.
