^ So, if Wade and LeBron are Batman and Robin...what is Bosh...? Batgirl...? :dunno:
Bosh is Batman's butler. :snicker:
Alfred works. :D
How about the three Stooges I think Lebron would be a stooge for agreeing to equally split the money Bosh is not worth the same as Wade or Lebron.
^
:agree: I wonder what Wade's/Bosh's salaries are going to look like? :ponder: |

Still, relevant to the lakers, the heat as theoretically constructed don't have enough interior skill or size to contend with Pau, Lamar, and Odom.

Lawyer sues LeBron, alleging he is his father
http://www.cnn.com/2010/SPORT/07/08/...ex.html?hpt=T2
Washington (CNN) -- A Washington lawyer has filed a lawsuit in federal court, claiming he is the father of basketball star LeBron James. Leicester Stovell alleges that the athlete and his family have been involved in a cover-up to deny paternity by committing fraud and misrepresentation. In the complaint, filed June 23, Stovell says, "I recently have concluded that a comprehensive, sophisticated and well-funded effort might well have been underway for quite some time, perhaps beginning in its present form as early as when defendant LeBron James was in high school, to frustrate identification of his real father, and that there is a likelihood that the father in question is me." James is scheduled to announce Thursday evening the team he has chosen to play for next season, a deal worth perhaps tens of millions of dollars or more. He currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The lawsuit claims Stovell met James' mother, Gloria, in a Washington bar and restaurant in 1984, where she was visiting from Ohio. She was 16 at the time, Stovell says, and they had sex only once. He says he was informed by Gloria James months later that she was pregnant. He claims she told him the child would be named LeBron, similar to Leicester Bryce, Stovell's first and middle names. Stovell says he has been trying for three years to establish paternity, and asks for unspecified millions of dollars in damages. He is a solo legal practitioner in the District of Columbia, and filed the lawsuit on his own behalf. A call to LeBron James' attorney, Frederick Nance of Cleveland, Ohio, was not immediately returned. The lawsuit had been filed without much initial publicity, but was reported by the TMZ celebrity website Wednesday. Public records show Stovell is a former government attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He filed a lawsuit in 2002 against the agency, alleging racial discrimination. Federal court records show the case was settled when the commission paid him $230,000, while not admitting fault. |

Apparently LeBron has booked rooms at a hotel in south beach for his celebration party this weekend.
Looks like he's going to Miami. |
:woot:
Go Heat!
King James is going to Miami....in Miami he will pay no city or state income tax.
^ thats what I was thinking. Even if he does end up taking a hit (a la Beasley trade doesn't work out) with no income tax, it would lessen the deficit.
Either way, this whole LeBron circus is ridiculous. |

Earlier today, I was saying the Heat, but I have been watching ESPN since I've been home, and I really back to square one. Each team has its pluses, and no matter were he chooses there are going to be some pissed off people in New York and/or Cleveland. I don't think Miami or Chicago fans will be as hard on him as Cleveland or New York fans would be.
If he chooses anywhere but Cleveland, he won't be able to go back and live in the city until after he retires..if then. |
Lol Lebron wont win a championship for anyone
can't believe how ridiculous the lebron watch has become.
that said, i'm watching....and i can't wait to find out! :boogie: |
Even with these 3 the Heat won't beat the Lakers they might not get past the Celtics.
^^ I can wait.
What pisses me off is, LJ is probably getting sooooo much money just for this stupid over hyped one hour announcement show
^^^ I've heard he's donating the money to the Boys and Girls Club,
yes, he is donating it there.
If he leaves Cleveland he will be Public Enemy #1 in Ohio and I feel bad for them. Out of all his possible destinations Cleveland needs him the most for financial reasons the other places will go on like normal and not think twice.
though i agree, he doesn't owe cleveland or ohio anything. he already gave them 7 years.
Well he's leaving them before his prime years in the NBA its hard to say it but I think he's still getting better.
agree.
but i don't blame him if he wants to spend his prime years elsewhere. again, he owes cleveland nothing. |
Your right he owes Cleveland nothing and he's probably trying to mitigate overall the backlash and public perception by having this special and donating the money to the Boys and Girls Club of America .
probably.
it'd be hilarious if this was all a giant smokescreen and stays with cleveland. |
15 more min to find out...
Fack, stuck in traffic
5 minutes to LeDecision or at least the start of the show.
I think Gibson works in legal. So maybe he helped with some of those contracts.
