Is New Jersey in a better position than NY? I've read they can get LBJ and Bosh. They already have Brook Lopez and Devin Harris.

I think they both have enough $$. Its been said and written several times that the Knicks can offer max money to 2 players.

How much will be left over for PG or decent SG? Can they keep David Lee?

The Nets have almost as much cap space as the Knicks (~$26M vs. ~$32M).
Even if they didn't, I'm sure their new billionaire Russian owner wouldn't mind paying the luxury tax.

I have to say, I was glad the celtics won yesterday, cant believe I just said that... (had a side bet) but cant seem to feel just really bad for lebron james... Him being that competitive and with the heavy burden he had to carry, (with ohio and the rest of the NBA to "expect" him to win this year) he had another disappointing playoff run. I cant really say he "chocked" or he's not good enough because he's been doing his part, most of the time, and he just didnt have enough help. They had a roster full of streaky shooters and no one really, except for him, to be able to consistently create shots for themselves... He should sign with the lakers next season...

Clemens is a joke and forever will be. He's a POS for throwing that bat at Piazza and also beaning him in the head(interleague series).
Piazza only hit a few monster HR's and a grand slam off of him does that merit a shattered bat flung towards him?

The Nets are in a position to make a lot of noise in the metro area if they acquire LBJ and another big name player. With their new arena in Brooklyn and with Devin Harris/Brooke Lopez they can be contenders in the East in a flash(pun intended Dwane Wade!).

Who beat LA in 6 games, 2 years ago? Who lost to them in 5 last year? The Magic may be better with Carter, but the Celts are (finally) healthy again and Rondo is light-years better than he was in '08. The Big Four FTMFW!

And @ "shuttlesworth" being one of the tags for this thread.

Here's a crazy thought..... Ray Allen's contract expires this year. KG has a couple more years left on his but, for argument's sake, let's just say the Celtics lose both of them in the off-season, to retirement/free-agency/trade/whatever. Here's what I would do if I were Danny Ainge:

Keep Rondo @ PG. Keep Perkins @ Center for now, but draft somebody for the future. Promote Big Baby Davis to starting PF - he seems like he could be ready. Move Pierce to shooting guard to replace Allen as designated sharp-shooter and hopefully save his legs for a few more years. That leaves a big void at small forward so let's see... who knows a good free-agent SF who wants to play for a title contender, with money being no object because of the cap space freed up by Garnett & Allen leaving..... hmmmmm..............

If Ainge could pull that off, he would have a contender for the better part of this decade and he'd pretty much lock himself in as the successor to Red Auerbach. He's even got the right color hair. I know, I know, it's a pipe dream because KG probably isn't going anywhere this year so they can't afford LeBron. But it would be awesome!

And ship off Beasley as well, he's starting to remind me of Ricky Davis. He gets me just as upset during games.

The Heat made a website for Wade. We crashed it so they upgraded the server.

From what it looks like if we trade Beasley we'd prefer James and a big man (obviously keeping Wade). Bosh, Amare, Boozer in that order. If not James then probably Joe Johnson. If we don't trade Beasley then the order stays the same. The local writer debunked the whole two swingmen superstars because Jordan and Pippen did it for years. Plus Wade lead the Olympics team in scoring so it's not like it won't work.

#2 pick for the Sixers... not bad, I'm guessing we'll get Evan Turner. Unless the brilliant minds in the front office have more in store!

I don't see LBJ going to Miami either...the real contenders look like Cleveland, NY, and NJ as a longshot.

And this year's playoff scheduling has been terrible!

This isn't a likely scenario. I'm just mentioning what the writer would say would be Miami's plan. Feel free to post your team's alleged plan if you'd like.

So I couldn't find MJ's house on public records but I found Amare's and Boozer's. Both bought between $6 and $7 million

That's been refuted...rumors and only just rumors.

I just hope Da Bulls have a Plan B if Lebron signs elsewhere.

Lebron was also spotted dining in Chicago the other day. I do not think that is a rumor.

Hey, I hope it happens. And, I don't think they need a plan B, they haven't had a plan B in many many years. why start now?

If you're talking about the meal he had with Urlacher before Game 4 in the Bulls/Cavs series...then, yeah.

But, he was not visiting for kicks...
