From what I've read she should've taken it to the ground considering her background. Her boxing, even in my amateur eyes, looked poor. I'm hearing mixed reviews of her coaching because apparently they didn't game plan her to take it to the ground but they were yelling at her to turn her angle so she wasn't the stiff, easy target that she appeared to be.

You can't really armchair quarterback a forty second fight.
Her coach Edmund Tarverdyan is a fucking fool. The only bigger fool is Ronda for sticking with him.
I think he has mind control over her. How can she believe the shit he feeds her.
Her boxing is a joke. A lot of grapplers fall into the same trap. They get a solid KO and think..

I'm sure Ronda's gameplan was to take her down and rip her arm off.
That first two piece turned her into a white belt. I'm not even sure if Ronda knew what day it was at that moment.
Amanda is one of the best strikers in the division and a legit BB in BJJ (trains at ATT, whos who of fighters, especially stikers).
Amanda was never going to let Ronda inside to clinch or get a takedown.
Many overlooked her even though she fucking destroyed Meisha Tate and put her into retirement.
She also hits like a fucking truck, just check out that wingspan.
Even though she's the same height as Ronda, Ronda might as well be a midget against Amanda's reach.
She was tagging Ronda at the edge of the punch, fuck that.
Ronda needs a lot of work to fight some of these top strikers.
Alpha Fail, Diaz / Perez, Jackson / Winkeljohn, or Zahabi.. anywhere but with the shit fuck Tarverdyan.
I still think Ronda can comeback and win it all and be dominant. She has to break her stubbornness and loyalty to Edmund.
I honestly think she's going to give up the game to have kids and do other shit..
I'm all for having a family, but I think it's a mistake for her to drop her legacy like that.
Anyways,, fuck that match.. did you guys watch the Dominick Cruz / Cody Gambrandt fight.. Horreee Shiettt that kid is good.
I didn't know til they commented that Cody has 23 amateur boxing matches. It fucking shows.
I've never seen anyone out work / step / punch Dominick like that.
I wonder how dominant he'll be in the division. I'd love to see him fight Aldo or McGregor.

^She got beat the same way Holmes beat her, come in quick, and pummel her before she can get a take-down. The approach was very similar minus the kick. You're right though, that Cruz/Gambrandt fight was awesome!

Honestly he was never really great. Ok broadcasting voice but was pretty generic. I was watching the prelims for the BJ Penn fight (because I taped the wrong one 
) and I learned more from the ex-fighters that were broadcasting which made the fight more entertaining for me. But yeah UFC doing nothing for Mike, no big surprise.
Did see Olinyk with the nice Ezekiel choke. The fight before that was ok Martin vs White.

TKD kid with legit ground game.. trying to reach the pinnacles BJ has already reached.. never fight a young and hungry fighter, especially after years out of the game.. need a legit tuneup fight.
BJ isn't nearly as fast as he used to be.. it was a bad matchup. I still want him to fight, just someone who has the years in the game that he has.. or some can like CM Punk.
