The ChiSox will be fun to watch again this year...hopefully they can make some noise in the playoffs if they make it there...
Toronto also look to be a fun team.

The NL is going through the Dodgers...they have pretty much everyone not named LeBron.

ChiSox pitching is pretty darn good so far...even without Giolito, Lynn, and Kelly. When they come back and the hitters can stay healthy...they may make some noise.

They also need to quit carrying dead wood Bellinger or at minimum send him down to AAA to find himself.

Bellinger also isn't whiffing 75% of the time and starting to show some life. He's lucky. When Roberts likes you, you can do know wrong.

ChiSox's supposed indestructible bullpen blows another game.

Yeah, MLB regular season is a marathon. I need to tell myself that 2 sweeps doesn't make a season for the ChiSox. But man...did they stink it up the last few days.

this is getting really bad
MLB needs to do something about this
give the pitchers some approved substance that they can use....
You can tell that the pitcher wasn't aiming for him it just got away
but this is like the 5th Mets player that has been hit shoulders or above this year

Any guesses on where Juan Soto is going to land? He supposedly turned down a 15yr $440m offer, and now the Nationals are considering trade offers.

I don't see the Yankees trading the farm system for him. The Nationals are going to want a fuck ton of talent in return.

Damn, their #1, 3 and 5 prospects (plus one more) for him.
Hope it pays off for them.

LeLakers and Tampa Sucs fail to acquire Hader from Brewers. He's going to Padres: https://www.tsn.ca/san-diego-padres-...wers-1.1831576

Yeah, I think I read 2025-2026, they should be a pretty young club. The Padres on the other hand need to perform now.
I am surprised how many teams made a big splash. Even the Red Sox were buyers (they capped their trades with acquiring Hosmer).
The Yankees on the other hand made some decent moves - Benintendi, though he's not hitting, Montas, Trivino, and Effross - but then they traded Montgomery for an injured CF (Bader). They need pitching, so I'm not sure why they gave up on Montgomery. He hasn't been as effective as he was in previous years, but he's still a decent lefty starter. I understand why they wanted another OF though, to give Judge a break in the field. But still...kind of a head scratcher.

I don't either. I think Soto will be happier out there until he's a free agent when he goes to the Dodgers, Astros or Yankees for a dumb amount of money.
