Say hi to Gerrit Cole tomorrow after he gets pulled in the 4th, allowing Trevor's first HR in a Red Sox uniform.

Apple TV friday night baseball is fuckin awful

Announcer is annoying, and they put commercials in the middle of the inning, while they are still playing.

The ChiSox will be fun to watch again this year...hopefully they can make some noise in the playoffs if they make it there...

Toronto also look to be a fun team.

The NL is going through the Dodgers...they have pretty much everyone not named LeBron.

ChiSox pitching is pretty darn good so far...even without Giolito, Lynn, and Kelly. When they come back and the hitters can stay healthy...they may make some noise.

If Urias doesn't remember how to pitch (he's seem to have forgotten) and they can't replace his 20 wins, they may not win the west.
They also need to quit carrying dead wood Bellinger or at minimum send him down to AAA to find himself.

He'll be fine I think (Urias). One bad first start doesn't take away his talent.

Good guess. Julio did look good last night. He just looked miserable in spring training and that first start.
Bellinger also isn't whiffing 75% of the time and starting to show some life. He's lucky. When Roberts likes you, you can do know wrong.

the Mets are doing pretty well so far, even without DeGrom
But it still is early in the season and they haven't had the chance to blow themselves up yet

Yeah, MLB regular season is a marathon. I need to tell myself that 2 sweeps doesn't make a season for the ChiSox. But man...did they stink it up the last few days.

Apparently. No worries, the White Sox are doing everything possible to disappear after their spanking in 2 straight series against division rivals.

this is getting really bad

MLB needs to do something about this
give the pitchers some approved substance that they can use....

You can tell that the pitcher wasn't aiming for him it just got away

but this is like the 5th Mets player that has been hit shoulders or above this year

Another overpaid trouble maker. The Braves have one of their own that likes to beat on a woman. The Dodgers haven't missed Bauer.

Any guesses on where Juan Soto is going to land? He supposedly turned down a 15yr $440m offer, and now the Nationals are considering trade offers.

Easy.

Tamp Sucs, Miami Heat, LeLakers, or Dodgers.

So, we'll see who throws the biggest hissy fit: LeBron, TomTomCheater, or Riley.

Dodgers, I have no beef with.

I don't see the Yankees trading the farm system for him. The Nationals are going to want a fuck ton of talent in return.

Surprised the Tampa Sucs didn't trade for him.

Or the LeLakers.

LeLakers and Tampa Sucs fail to acquire Hader from Brewers. He's going to Padres: https://www.tsn.ca/san-diego-padres-...wers-1.1831576

Once Tatis returns, the Padres will have one of the scariest lineups.

The haul the Nats got wasn't bad though. It will take time to judge this titanic trade.

Yeah, I think I read 2025-2026, they should be a pretty young club. The Padres on the other hand need to perform now.

I am surprised how many teams made a big splash. Even the Red Sox were buyers (they capped their trades with acquiring Hosmer).

The Yankees on the other hand made some decent moves - Benintendi, though he's not hitting, Montas, Trivino, and Effross - but then they traded Montgomery for an injured CF (Bader). They need pitching, so I'm not sure why they gave up on Montgomery. He hasn't been as effective as he was in previous years, but he's still a decent lefty starter. I understand why they wanted another OF though, to give Judge a break in the field. But still...kind of a head scratcher.

The thing against the Padres is, they can likely hit but do they have the pitching? That is going to be a question...I still don't see them getting past the Dodgers...but, who knows.

I don't either. I think Soto will be happier out there until he's a free agent when he goes to the Dodgers, Astros or Yankees for a dumb amount of money.
