Wow...the Dodgers should've gotten to the WS Dance given that squad on paper. Kershaw is the Jim Kelly of MLB.

Not sure if the NL teams left standing have a chance against Houston in 7 games.

Look at their rotation and that line-up...it has no business to being in the final 4 dance TBH.

And yes, I LOVE IT. @ Cards...

I think Harper is too, all about “Me”. This is a team that is having fun, on the field and off. Harper is not that type of player or person.

You can just tell they are all about the game and having fun. Real baseball. To think we were 12 games out in May and now in the World Series. So crazy. This is the year. This group of guys.

Definitely! And Harper was not that guy. Great player but I love this group we have. World Series tickets are around $800 currently. I think we may get our hands on a few though.

I couldn't watch the game last night. Was rooting for the Nats though I like both teams.

The Astros manager blew it by pulling Greinke. WHY?

World series winners:
Nats
DC Sport bars and really and bar with a TV. They were packed to the rafters.

Losers:
Astros
Mattress Mack, although he may have actually lost more if the Astros had won.

Easy to second-guess him now but Harris was automatic out of the pen all season. Greinke allowed the HR and then walked the next batter...at that point, well, you're darned if you do and darned if you don't. What if Greinke then served up the RBI to Kendrick anyways? I dunno...Personally, I would've kept Greinke in the game as he was stumping the Nats all night. But, then again, as far as relievers went, Harris was so good though.

Baseball is a weird sport.

I agree to pull your starters that many innings/pitches in. I'd lean towards Cole because they were winning but Harris was good. More credit to the Nats.

No team in any of the sports that have seven game series has had this happen.

This is where baseball gets weird...as amazing as Cole is though, could he close?

Like, aren't there examples where a stellar generational pitcher just fell apart in a close situation? I dunno. You go to Harris all year to bridge to the closer and it has always worked given how the Astros plowed through the regular season. Anyways, dunno...baseball is a weird sport.
