but, really. It's baseball. Everyone has been stealing signs since the 1800s.

What a masterpiece by Hendricks. His pitching is almost Maddux-like...at worst, he's Mark Buerhle in his prime.

Fantastic. Cubs take back home field...Lester goes next game.

BoSox are cooked. They have no answer for that Astros lineup.

What a pitching duel today between Cubs and Nats.

Nail-biter. But, one more to go...Hoping Arrieta brings his best stuff.

It was a f*cked up game and if I were a Nats fan, I would think they are cursed. That inning was screwed-city. Max gets Kris and Rizzo...the two MOST dangerous Cubs players out. Easy.

BUT, after that, it just goes sideways. Completely. This goes even to the blown call (yes, I will say it was a crap call against the Nats) when Baez hit the catcher's mask with his bat. That should've made the call dead.

Yeah, just to show how cursed the Nats are...here is a nutbar statistical look at just what unraveled for their ace: Max Scherzer's unbelievable, impossible, unprecedented loss

It's insane. Cubs should not have even scored those runs...but, baseball is weird. I'm the fan of the team where a fan attempted to catch a ball and Prior, their ace, and the team implodes shortly afterwards to hand the game to the Fish.

Dodgers pitching is too good...And I suspect the last series took a heap out of the Cubbies.

Their bullpen needs to be reassessed when LA eliminates them.

IMO baseball is boring and would never watch a regular season game, but this series has been insane fun to watch. Crazy.

Do we continue baseball talk here since nobody gives a shit about an offseason thread? Speaking of not giving a shit, Dee Gordon traded to the Mariners for prospects. Marlins fire sale has begun.
