I like the cubs...and most of their fans who don't demand us call them the "best fans since our team nevAr wins"...so may the best team win tomorrow, hopefully we'll represent the NL well either way. That said, teh Marlin can nevAr lose!!1

Sorry guys I have to laugh at that. 7 run 8th? That's crazy! Talk about choke. That fan did mess things up, but even if he didn't the game would have been 4-3. The cubs did have chances after that to get out.
Curse, Curse Curse.
Dusty Baker, "no it's not the curse, it's the hitting. FL starting to hit"

A co-worker of mine has a wife who works with this guy who tried for the ball. They work at a local trucking company. Well, the wife called Chuck and here is what he told us.
"The trucking company called him early in the morning and told him not to come to work today, or until they figure out what to do with him."
(Now I have to do some surmising here...probably the system e-mail administrator noticed a sharp rise in incoming e-mails in his account and as of about 1:00 Chicago time) "this guy has had over 300 threatening e-mails, including death threats."
People know his name, where he lives and where he works. In fact, he has gone into hiding, so, this is getting serious! Out of hand serious! Even his family is starting to feel threatened.
As a life long White Sox fan, I felt the bitter disappointment when the Sox blew it down the stretch. Couldn't score runs to save their lives. Then, when they are officially out of it, the next game they score 19 runs! The Cubs against the White Sox in a world series...well, there wouldn't be a Chicago still standing after that.
But this is getting too serious, folks! Some people are saying this guy may have to actually move out of Chicagoland. C'mon, it's only a baseball game.

The media is just ridiculous, you can find this guys photo on alot of news websites and all his info. This is the type of event that could make someone change their name and move to another city. First thing i would do if i were him would be to die my hair and get it cut.

If I was "that guy" I would sue. Sue the Cubs, sue MLB, sue the media, sue his employers, etc. Sue everyone.
He did nothing wrong... the ball was out of play. Now he's getting death threats, he may lose his job, and he'll probably have to move. And on top of it he probably paid at least $500 for those seats. At least if he sues he can win enough money to start a new life on a tropical island or something..... poor guy.

What was Mr. Batflip expecting? Baseball is the one sport where showing up the other team is a huge no-no. Getting beaned was inevitable. Then, instead of taking it, he decides to channel his inner Utley and attempt a slide like that on Odor.

Going to the Rangers vs Pirates game Saturday.
Gonna tailgate with a bunch of friends. Also it's Yu Darvish's first start in like 2 years. I'm not a huge fan of baseball but oh well, I like to go to 1 or 2 games a year.
