bla bla bla

You are the perfect Mets fan, so used to mediocrity you can't see that a bullpen that gives up 5 runs sucks.

See, I can say it when there are flaws in my teams.

Case in point:

Rangers suck, under Sather their 9 year GM they have been in the playoffs 4 times & won t rounds in those four. THAT SUCKS.

As a real fan I can see when there are flaws in my teams.

A little news flash...

Every team has flaws, including your precious Yankees. You miss the point, again.

"as a real fan" Are you serious?

If the bullpen gave up 5 runs over 4 innings Id still be alittle pissed. But when they give up 4 of those 5 runs in the 9th? Thats a different story. Sure its the beginning of the season, but had we not scored 2 in the 8th it wouldve been a tied game, and who knows what the outcome would have been. Id much rather them address this before the All Star game then have this happen in September with a Playoff berth on the line.

Maybe that is just the Yankees fans line of thought though, since Met fans dont have to worry about the playoffs

So, since every team has flaws, us fans are not allowed to complain about it?

I don't know why the Mets keep being brought into this, no one was talking about them. They suck, I don't claim they are good, happy?

Complain all you want, but don't be surprise when people roll their eyes at your complaints. Oh no...the best team in baseball gave up some runs, lets rework our whole bullpen. We need to trade for Papelbon for the 8th inning and Soria for the 7th immediately.

You guys won the effing game, give it a rest.

Oakland is off to a good start, aside from last nights game. Yet their dumb fuck owner is still trying to make headlines about them moving to San Jose. What a dumb shit

First you say no response is needed yet you responded, then you say again my responses speak for me. DUH I communicate effectively so of course when I respond it follows it is understandable.

Ahh, that reminds me, I read this past week that Jim West (umpire) believes that the Boston-New York games are ruining baseball.

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...ssing.html.php

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...oop/index.html

He claims the Red Sox and Yankees dont like to pick up the pace during the game, and thats why we have 4hr long games.

Yet he was the umpire working the plate for the first game when CC was on the mound, and he made CC change his shoes because they werent the same blue shoes the rest of the Yankees were wearing.

Vazquez leaves quite a bit to be desired. Pineiro & Rodney did a great job.

Well, if we continue our domination of Boston today, we will. Your correct in your first point however, October is a loooong way away and many things can happen between now and then.

Gotta send some love out there for my Giants before they slip out of first by losing 1 run games to the Padres. Eckstien walk off was classic.

Not sure where else to post this, since we dont have a sports vid or college thread. Doesn't deserve its own thread, and most here will appreciate it.

I must admit that I didn't know too much about Halliday while he was with the Jays but now I'm beginning to understand the fuss. The Phils had some great defensive plays behind him last night as well. Sort of reminds me how they used to play when Carlton pitched - balls that normally got through somehow got stopped. Great pitching tends to pick the whole team up.
