one question why does everyone hate on the Yankees no one has ever told gave me a legitamate (sp) reason why they hate the Yankees so much..
Yea im a Yankees fan but I'm also a Cardnials fan and if I had to root for a team in CA since I live here I would have to pick the Dodgers

Why the Yankee hate?
1 reason....Money.
Highest team payroll, highest paid players, the ability to "buy" all the talent & "buy" world series rings.
A lot of bruised ego's, & pissed off people because of that reason.
Ironically the Yankees have proven that it doesn't always work like that. Yet people still hate them.
There's not going to be any real valid baseball reason.
Over rated players? Talent is talent & no one can say the Yankee's don't have that. Is it worth the price?.....
That's a BS reason. Stats are there & don't lie.

The end of last night's game was a nail biter. Props to the Halos for coming out early and putting the squeeze on. Props to the Yanks for one of the most explosive half-innings (top of the 7th) I can recollect in recent playoffs history. Back and forth, 2 solid teams with clutch plays. I so thought Fuentes was going to blow it in the 9th, hit batter LOL he must have been under inordinate pressure.
See ya this Saturday, hopefully it doesn't rain out

You are not a teacher, you don't get that regardless of which team you switch to the Series is beyond your grasp.
I understand the two team "favorite" deal, mine are the Yankees & Red Sox. The Angels were my "favorite" team while they swept the Sox.
There is a long standing rivalry there and primary fans of these teams have a dislike of the other team, this does not usually translate to teams not in a rivalry.
Yankee haters like you need to get a life.

Yankee fans like you need to stop being pussies and learn how to take criticism when it comes to your almighty Yankees. Like I said before, its not the "actual" Yankees that I hate ( the lineup is superb), its usually the pompous douchebag fans like you who think that they're actually on the field doing the work ( I saw this first hand when I went to Yankee Stadium last year, yikes!). Also, this leads you to think that you have some sort of entitlement to bash other teams without reprecussion. Although, it seems when someone bashes the Yanks you get your panties in a wad and end up throwing a fit, its actually quite funny really how mad you guys get.
So your saying since the Yankees and Dodgers don't have a rivalry, that I can't say my two favorite teams are the Dodgers and whoever is playing the Yankees? You're such an idiot. If you want to go that route then look up some baseball history. The Bums and the Yanks had a huge rivalry before the move to L.A., so your point is invalid there. Girardi is a smart manager, but he tends to micromanage alittle too much. He needs to let his pitchers pitch. Pulling Marte so early was stupid. I know there was a lefty coming up to bat, but Marte got two outs. Hughes has been a bit shaky against the Angels, and dont get me started on Joba.
But anyways, I cant wait for the game tomorrow, and I dont want a game 7. I have that uneasy feeling that if they go to game 7, it will not be an east coast World Series.

Serious. My best friend is a Yankees fan and has never step foot in the state of New York, but he's Italian so that's his justification. Its fun rubbing it in his face about when I went to Yankee Stadium last year to see the last Yanks/Red Sox series, he gets mad..hehe!
As much as I hate to say it, congrats to the Yanks for making it to the series. They better put on their game faces though because if they think they're going to beat the Phils playing like that it will be a short series. Regardless, it should be a good showdown.
Who wants it more?
Yankees win World Series in the first year in the new stadium starting a whole new tradition?
Or
Phils become back to back champions?
Those are some pretty good incentives to want to win.
