SWEEEP!! SWEEP!! SWEEP!!

No matter how good the Dodgers do in the season the "experts" and Analyst always count them out, even those that regurgitate Sportscenter jargon never give the Dodgers credit either. I hope sweeping the Cards is proof that the Dodgers are a force to be reckon with, I mean, they did have the BEST record in the N.L. for a reason, GO BLUE!!!

But I have to root for the Red Sox in the ALDS. The Yanks have a hard time beating the Angels.

Anyway, Mauers "foul ball" last night was a bs call, but Im not sure if the outcome would have been any different.

As much as I hate the Yankees, the Twins don't deserve to win. They are playing sloppy, bush league baseball.

Too bad for STL. I have liked LaRussa every since he took the A's to the World Series back in the 80's.

I'd like to see at least one so cal team in it, that way I can pay a ridiculous amount for series tickets and catch a game.

Congratulations Angels!

Getting Punto between third and home is why Jeter isn't overrated.

Jeter is sooo overrated... his 'range' is awful, would never want a clutch, hard working, baseball smart player like that on my team.

Congrats to LA fans. St. Louis had next to nothing in offense. Ethier played an awesome series he was a hitting machine.

Why did they have to start the PHL/COL game at 10:05pm? I ran out of gas about 12:45 but was glad to see that the fightin's pull out a 6-5 win and Lidge getting the save. Hopefully we can wrap things up at a more decent hour today with Lee on the mound!

Im not surprised the Red Sox lost in that fashion. Papelbon has been loading the bases all year. His meltdown in the 9th shows why he isn't a shutdown closer that they need, especially in the AL.

Go Yanks!!

I don't think the Yankees are going to get past the next round.

Twins played horrible post season baseball.

Red Sox never showed up for any of the games.

Why? So they could show the Yankme game in prime time in NYC, that's why. What a joke. It was freezing in Denver, while the Twin/Yankmes was in a dome. The two games should have been flip-flopped.

Only time will tell. They split the season series, the Yankees won the final series in Anaheim, A-Rod is hitting, they are getting the pitching they need they have a very good chance of winning, anything can happen in a short series, hell the Twins could have beaten the Yankees.

No one expected the Angels to sweep Boston did they?

The Twinkies did themselves in. Their baserunning gaffes alone were appalling. What the hell was Punto thinking last night, rounding third base like that? Great, heads-up play by Jeter, but pure boneheadedness by Punto. Ran 'em right out of a potential big inning.

After I watched Boston's performance in game one I kind of figured that the series would be over soon. Boston didn't want to play

Haven't been on lately, but just wanted to check in and see how everyone is feeling. My observations so far:

Crazy amounts of base running errors.

Crazy amounts of missed calls. Listen, I know umps makes mistakes and miss calls, but it seems be alot more in this postseason then any before.

Closers- Not getting the job done. Giving up 2 out saves? yikes!

I think the Yankees have a great shot. CC is being his normal self and pitching well. ARod is learning to be comfortable, hoping he keeps it up. AJ will need to settle down a little bit, and Pettitte, well he is a postseason gem. I think we will have a good series with the Halos and come out on top.

I don't think the dodgers will make it, not enough pitching IMO.

Yankees Phillie world series. Yankees in 6

Phils/Rockies was a great game. On the edge of my seat the last two innings. :nailbiter:

Now get rid of the Dodgers and be ready for the Angels in the WS.
Yes, Angels /Phils

Phils bats are dangerous
Lidge is getting his game back
Lee - what can you say?

Phils in 7

I certainly hope you are wrong, I think it will be Yankees in 6 over Angels and Yankees in 5 over Dodgers for their 27th World Series!!!

We'll see.

So you keep saying. Would you like to say what reasons you have for your position?

They were by a large margin the best team, they have home field advantage as long as they remain, they were 57-24 at home and 46-35 on the road.

They need only to win at home to win the series (all of them) They were 23-15 against the west and split against the Angels which is rare.

They have pitching, hitting and fielding and are a cohesive unit.

They have as good a chance as anyone to win.

Angles will be tough to get around. I think they have a good chance to rattle the Yankees. If the Yankees manage to get past LAA, they still have an uphill battle with the Dodgers. It will be interesting to watch.
