Too bad the Tigers let the division slip away, but I'm of the opinion that it was still a good year as they werent expected to even finish close to winning the division.

I think next year will be even better, as Verlander and Cabrera are reaching their primes, but they've got some guys that will need to step up (Ordonez, Guillen), etc).

The history between the teams.

Torre going back to NY.

Manny once again fighting the Yanks for a championship.

The drama would be ridiculous.

That would be pretty sweet if it were to happen!

Kind of reminds how last year everyone was hoping that it would be a Red Sox-Dodger series because of Manny.
