LaVar Arrington Crashes His Motorcycle Near DC
http://www.wtop.com/?nid=25&sid=1169764
LANDOVER, Md. - LaVar Arrington, a former member of the Washington Redskins and New York Giants, has been seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon.
State Police say the crash happened about 1 p.m. on a ramp from Route 50 onto Interstate 495 near Landover. Police say Arrington's 2007 Kawasaki traveled off the ramp and into some gravel, where he lost control and hit a guardrail. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He remains in stable condition at Prince George's Hospital Center. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Arrington does have a license, but not a motorcycle license. He was given a ticket for driving the bike without a proper license and for failure to control speed to avoid a collision.
Arrington, who turns 29 on Wednesday, was released from the Giants in February after suffering a season-ending foot injury in 2006.
Arrington was drafted by the Redskins out of Penn State in 2000.

This pretty much ends his career, or what was left of it anyways. After being released by the Giants for being injury prone he's still an un-signed free agent.
Now, he's got 4 broken bones, 3 of which are in his leg. No chance he'll get signed by anyone now.

And like you said, no way anybody is signing him now.

He only had 2-3 good games in his entire career. He was a huge bust. To think that people were comparing him to Lawrence Taylor when he was drafted

Skins could've traded down and drafted Urlacher. Ouch!
