If you were a MLB closer, what song would you come in to?

Mine would probably be Running With The Devil by Van Halen.

Try to avoid picking songs already used.

Something by Pantera, but my choices would be limited because you couldn't play a lot of their songs in a stadium full of kids.

that was a song that i was listening to on my ipod when i read this thread. but, in the 80s and early 90s i recall i was collecting baseball cards and i heard the term that closer is a "fireman", so i thought to light a fire means the closer is dead-on.

Good call. Or "By Demons Be Driven". Make the people think you're a possessed demon. How's that for intimidation

Seriously though, I'd probably go with "Mouth For War", except I'd have it so the solo is playing instead of starting from the beginning. That songs always gets me in the mood for baseball.

I already said what my songs were...so, STFU.

I also think you'd do well with Britney Spears' "Oops, I Did it Again."

And the Cubbies don't count. Hell will freeze over if they go to the WS...let alone win one. Bartman was there for a reason...to prevent the destruction of reality as we know it.

Quit living in the past, Ozzie.

And since you don't live there anymore you can't be a Sox or Cubs fan anymore. I've told you that before

And The Cubs will never stand in the Reds way in search of another WS

Edit: I misread that as "Batman", not "Bartman"! Either way it's still

We are a rebuilding team that are trying to get rid of some of the past ownerships baggage.

You are an under-performing team that spent way to much money. The only thing you did right was hire Lou Pinella.

Oh, and what kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't ask how Prior and Wood are doing

And when they do come back for that one start per (before they get injured again), book those starts as wins. Each.
