Sorry, had to post it here too (since this topic is specifically about the World Series). It's all in good fun anyway

If Mass didn't have that arm flexing off the side of it I doubt I'd be able to find it either.
I miss the animosity of the Yankees series.

My favorite stat from the 2004 WS to date:
Cardinals have thrown 356 pitches. Sox have only swung and missed 19 of those. Let's hope they remembered to pack the hot bats for the road trip!

Interesting article behind it:

Everything starts over tonight. Only it's a 5 game series and St Louis has to win 4.

We know that we don't have strikeout pitchers, I think everyone knows that. We usually get a lot of ground ball outs, along with double plays. Basically, let the batter hit it into an out. However, Woody must have thought let them hit it out.
They have to stop walking too and our hitters need to start taking more walks/pitches.

That's not what I meant by cool. I mean if a 500 lb woman falls over the right field fence and crushes an outfielder, or if Tony Larussa took those sunglasses off and had another pair underneath, or if St Louis had trained a flock of actual cardinals to swarm around the Sox players' heads while they batted. That's the only reason I really watch sports - for the oddities.
