from just the other side of the red line. It reminds me of the goal Osgood let in against the Blues in the playoffs a couple of years back. I think it was Macinnis (sp?) from just in front of the blue line. I'm glad to see the Wings WOKE THE FAWK UP, and Hasek was outstanding in the third. The "old men" are finally getting under their skin a little, which could be bad for the Canucks. Bertuzzi got taken off his game towards the middle of the second, and never really recovered. But Crawford knows the Wings as well any anyone and can make the adjustments.
I don't mind getting beat. But the Wings are much, much better than they showed in the first 2 games. Last night was a little more like it. They've still got a some work to do to get their best game play back, but atleast they look like they are on the right path.

GREAT CALL, AND GREAT GAME FOR ISLES. The leafs just cant handle the isles anymore. All they needed was a chance, and wow, did they ever give LONG ISLAND all the best chance to win the cup. LETS go ISLANDERS.

It's a good start for the Rangers, but pre-season doesn't mean shyt. The success of the Rangers will depend on Pavel's health (knee) and goal tending. IMO, the Rangers will suck!

Anyone catch the NHL All Star Game?
since football is over (except for the pro bowl which is on right now) and the heat games are never good anymore i've been trying to get into hockey. i have to say today's game was really good. 5 goals by a kid who was rookie of the year last year. the game had to go to shootout which added some drama to it.

Ya im a big time hockey fan, gotta say that was the best all star game i ever saw, first ever shootout, very exciteing, good plays, good goletending, game had everything.

Oh well, things happen for a reason. I can still hold the stifling defense of the Wild will be enough to suffocate the high-powered Colorado offense.

Wow, the Wings are down 3-0 to the Anahiem Mighty Ducks mostly because of their hot goaltender, JS Giguere! And to think originally, Canuck fans were hoping to draw the Ducks in the first round (Although they still have their hands full with the Blues)!
