I'm surprised the Stars are giving the Preds everything they can handle. I had the road to the Cup out of the West going through either the Jets or Preds...and well, one is gone and the other is teetering...

Flames are toast too. So, West is bloody wide-open. Best team on paper is the winner of either Sharks/Knights...Avs and Stars should just be happy to be in the dance esp. if the latter advances.

What the eff is with these start times? Stars/Blues at 8:30... probably won't start til around 9? We are in the Central, not the Pacific. People work and not everyone can stay up til midnight on a weekday.
Just because an Eastern conference game is on the same day doesn't mean you need to start the Western conference game 3 hours later.. stupid NHL only thinking about TV.

Yeah it killed me with all the Avs/Flames games not starting till 10/1030 so having to stay up till 1am then get up for work at 530. I expect them to do more of the same for this round to with the Sharks sadly. Would it kill them to give us a 9pm start once and a while.

I agree. I thought it was a 2 min penalty for cross checking but that was it.

I didn't see it, but I heard that Sharks guy was bleeding afterwards which probably prompted it to be a major

He ran into another player and then fell down awkwardly, honestly I think it was more of a dive than anything

Either way, that call completely turned the game on it's head, I hate to see officiating directly affect the outcome of a series

That was the worst call ever. Should've been a 2-minute minor for cross-checking...to make it worse, the penalty was assessed to Vegas' best penalty killer too.

VGK's got screwed over. Still, it was an entertaining game. The fact that the team was able to tie it despite letting in 4 straight PP goals like that was remarkable.
