NBC couldn't handle that Queen Henrietta gave up 4 goals in 10 shots, they even tried padding his stats going into the third

I was watching without sound as I hate their announcers.

Most of the goals were scored without defensive pressure/due to giveaways/great goals so blaming Hank is unfair and being a bad winner is not a good look for you.

Well, bluelines take time to develop and you can't go remove veterans like McD and then expect the team to not skip a beat. Doesn't work that way when a player is munching up 25+ minutes per game too and is reliable. That's alot to make up for.

I can relate by telling you the Hawks are not the same squad now that they are scrambling to make up for Nik Hjalmarsson's absence with the guy in Zona now. He was a shot-blocking defensive monster and was arguably a first pairing guy and ate up over 20 minutes per game. You just don't go replacing that easily.

While not the same, the Oilers fell off a cliff recently after their initial winning streak with Hitch because they lost Russell and Klefbom...now, they can't stop goals. Coincidence? Nope. This era of hockey wins with the blueline, IMO.

Lundqvist has been pulled in 6 of his last 13 starts against the Pens (including playoffs). That includes tonight when he was relieved after allowing 6 goals on 18 shots.
6 goals in 18 shots aint very good btw

The way the Rangers fail to show up is more to blame than Lundqvist in these situations.

But thanks for the meaningful stats.

Pens streak will come to an end. Blackhawks coming up...and they got the Pens number.

With that...USA goes for gold tonight.

Ever since Jim Lite called out Benn and Seguin, Seguin has been on a tear.

Got my away tickets for Pens vs Phoenix (2nd row)...then driving up to see Pens vs Fleury (lower bowl, row J behind MAF twice)

I'll try to see the Grand Canyon in there somewhere...unless it's closed maybe toss a few dollars in Vegas, who knows.

Colorado has become a shit show after the fire start they had. They are 3-12 in the last 15 games. It has become almost impossible to watch really. Our goaltending has just been downright awful and average defense in front of them just doesn't help.

Very cool, I went to a Knights game last year, their billion dollar arena is amazing and puts our building to shame. Everything there is top notch

Ryan Spoonee waived by Oilers.

So, Eberle got Strome and Strome got Spoonee and Spoonee gets Edmonton bye-bye-Felicia...

Wow. Oilers, already in cap hell (for winning nothing yet) just threw $13.5 over 3 years to their backup, Koskinen, who has played a whopping 27 NHL games so far.

Dafuq.

I hate giving up the 1st, but that's the market price for a top 4 dman. Grundstrom was great last year during Marlies' Calder Cup run, but regresses a lot this year.

Don't know anything about the other dude.

K...so, some depth sent to LA and of course, the key, the 1st rounder. It'll be a low pick anyhow given Toronto's likely position in the standings.

Totally forgot about Scott Bjugstad (kind of a forgettable up and down guy, but so was Loney and Errey at the time) playing on the team in 88. It's cool that Nick wears his number. 88 was one of my favorite teams of all time...

I wouldn't mind as long as an eastern team doesn't win the draft lottery.
