the problem has become quite clear: we have zero secondary scoring. Our third and fourth lines are absolutely abysmal. They're literally dead weight on the ice. What's weird though... the oilers overall shots on goal are super high. I don't get it. Yes, defence is struggling a bit, but if we had our forward lines producing, we wouldn't be in half this mess.
Either way, it was nice to see the top line score 2 of 2 goals, last night. Draisaitls assist to mcjesus, and his goal was pretty highlight worthy material last night.
Yeah that guy is a bag of dicks also. He's fucking useless out there, for 57 minutes of every game. And he's no star for the remaining three minutes, either

Allegedly the arena is selling out virtually every night, but according to management: "too many fans are checking out the nooks and crannies of the arena and not sitting in the stands."
I did not pay up for club level, but suspect part of the issue is that there are way more club level seats that also include food, so a lot of fans are stuffing their face to get their money's worth at the club lounge.

I don't watch enough Edmonton games to comment on the high-shots BUT...if quantity is from far away and with little traffic, they can fire 23441431414 and most NHL goalies (YES, EVEN THE NON-NAMEBRAND ONES) will stop them. So, I dunno...are players like Whatamaroon and Loocheechandchong doing a "Perry" and running goalies? Cuz, without traffic, seriously...high shots mean squat.
Anyways, I did read a comment recently that Edmonton is "slow". Dafuq? Is that true? How and when did THAT happen...?
