Yep, all the Fleury haters are out, but 3 of the 4 went off of his own defensemen. Honestly I was just glad to get out of the game without any more of our players getting injured from borderline cheapshots...

They say you're not in trouble till you lose at home .... OH WAIT!!
BTW: Other than Geno (It's-my-party-and-I'll-cry-if-I-want-to!) Malkin's self-inflicted
misconduct the refs displayed their favoritism for the Sens by awarding
exactly the same number of penalty minutes to both teams last night. True story,
look it up.

COMMENTARY: NHL wants anyone but Ottawa in the Stanley Cup final
..... The Sens are still the longshots at 9-2, slightly better than Nashville’s 11-4.
Anaheim is listed at 5-2 and Pittsburgh is the favourites at 7-4 — which means if you
bet $4, you’d win $7.
If the NHL is betting on the best matchup in the final, it’s likely hoping for the Penguins
and Ducks to meet for all the marbles.
Most American viewers probably don’t even know where Ottawa is, and the Senators vs. Ducks
or Predators in the final will mean low TV ratings down south.
That’s not the be-all and end-all and never should be, but you can bet the league certainly
cares about that.

I hope the sens beat the pens and play well for lord Stanley. Since they kicked out the rangers, would rather see big game brass hoist the cup instead of crybaby and his team (from the east). I'm also rooting for the preds to make it out of the west. They have looked good and deserve to play for the cup.

Meh, I'm rooting for the Ducks, mainly because I grew up in Anaheim. But IMO, ratings won't be good unless teams like Bruins or Blackhawks are in the finals.
THAT said, at this point, if The Ducks didn't make it pass this round, I'm okay with it. Beating Edmonton and shutting the fuck up of all the Edmonton fans on my Facebook was enough to make my season. I don't hate on the Oilers, but during the series, there were too much trash talking from the Facebook Oilers fans (personal friends)

Well it's clear you've never watched a ducks game, and how greasy the likes of Kesler, Perry, et al. like to play.
You also must've missed the two games that were stolen from edmonton, based on some fucking brutal calls that were made. Argue it all you want- there aren't many people saying they weren't brutal calls.
And yeah, hate on the fans for being excited for seeing meaningful hockey for the first time in 11 years. How terrible of them!
Either way, this is why I refuse to use facebook. There are too many dumb fucks that ruin shit for others.

Well to be honest, I don't know of a single team that doesn't have a group set of shitty fans. And that small group set generally ruins it for the wider audience.
I can just imagine some of the pig headed comments friends of yours were making. That's why I just avoid Facebook altogether. It goes with politics also. It's one thing to be an asshole, but it's another when other dummies start jumping on board also.
By the end of day, I'm quite happy how the oilers finished this year. Finishing in the top 8 ain't bad, after the decade plus of retardedness I endured

I prefer to look at the last 4 games in both conferences as the "Preliminary Final" rounds.
The "Final Final" 3 game rounds begin now

The fact they can drag out the last 3 seconds of a game, into 3 hours just kills basketball for me.

I have mostly always felt this way: If the NBA is the best basketball in the world, the best basketball deserves a better game. The rules and regulations in the modern NBA are ridiculous and infrations are all but completely arbitrary.

Definitely did not expect that out of yesterdays game. That was like a completely different team. There was no let up the entire first period of the game.

I don't know if it is the way the arena is designed or if Preds fans are just that loud but it really stood out to me how loud they were during the game broadcast.

Not necessarily. In Edmonton, at the last arena, the crowd reached a record of almost 116dB, if I remember correctly. And this wasn't just for a short burst. This was the entire game, people hollering their lungs out. I knew people who lost their voice for like 3 days after
I could see Nashville fans going bananas, as their team has never made it that far. But at the same time, it's Nashville- who watches hockey in Nashville?

Game 7...!
Probably not going to be good for the blood pressures of underdog and Ack but for the rest of us, great entertainment.
