Sure a knee injury in 2015 has much to do with body injuries in 2016.
Also as I recall he was sent into the net by a defender & there was no call on the play, also the backup played better than Price and things went well for Montreal no?

I watched your backup play very well, I was referring to the 2014 season, my bad (makes it even older history on that injury).
Yup, tokar had a decent series in that conference finals against y'all that year. He was still shaky though, we should have traded him right after when his stock was at its highest.

That series was my only exposure to him, & he played as well as anyone could have. Seems backups/rookies/has beens play really well against the Rangers frequently.
Went to the Season Ticket Holder screening of the Penguins 50 year documentary, it was extremely well done, I don't think there was a dry eye in the house
Are the Oil coming back to earth...? They've had 2 wins in the last handful...and they have been against stronger teams and on the road.
Still, the start was impressive. McDavid's been scoreless for me in my fantasy roster...get a goal, kid!
Are we surprised they came back to earth? They had a lucky start. And then an unlucky follow up. I think if they're lucky, they'll end up being a 0.500 team. However, of all their recent losses, several of those games they played pretty well in, but didn't get the end result, for whatever reason. They played well against Pittsburgh, until they scored on themselves on an unlucky bounce, in the last 90 seconds. As e30 said, they played pretty well against New York, though there's no denying New York is the much better team. They should've beat Dallas in their first match up, but somehow didn't get the 2 points in the end. They played Dallas again last night and won 5-2.
They've been shooting like crazy, but I think they went up against some hot goalies at the time. They do still make lots of mistakes and have some holes in their game, but they're still fairing much better than last year. To be honest, at least it's still fun to watch them play. The last two years, I'd PVR half the games and just fast forward through them, because of how brutal they were

Shiiiet, I didn't know McDavid got a hattrick against Dallas. He's 22 points in 19 games. Anyone think he'll hit 100 points this year? Personally, I think he will fall just short of it. Like 92-95 points. This of course, assuming he stays healthy all season.
I think he's going to get over 100 for sure. Man I remember the days when guys like jagr, francis, mario, the great one, brett hull etc were putting up like 70 goals and 200 points lol. Now its very rare to see 50 goals and 100 points in a year but Mcjesus will do it.

Over/under I have for him is 93 points. I picked him in the 1st round for a reason.
He's up against the Captain Serious and the Hawks tonight. Let's see if Chicago can keep up with the Oilers' speed and snag 2 points.
