Damn.. except for the first 5 minutes, the Stars looked flat footed all game. The Wild were better in every aspect of the game last night. Stars need to get it out of their system that this isn't a gimme series. Hopefully they learn from last night and turn up the heat.

Well, he was also single-handedly helping the Hawks claw to within 1...his strengths are also his weaknesses. Where the line is where he needs to learn...he's still relatively young.



The Hawks did not lose with his penalty. They lost because like all season, their PK is not great. They lost because they have NO answer for Tarasenko. They lost because they have issues scoring 5-on-5. They lost because their gap in the #4 D-man (Oduya) has not been capably filled as TVR is still very young.

3-1 for Blues...Hawks are in trouble...but, they've been down this path before. We'll see what they are made of in Game 5 and go from there. Blues are good this year.

Sure, however absent the on ice call and since he is responsible for his stick and seeing as HIS stick separated Stalberg from HIS teeth at minimum a phone hearing was in order to at least offer the hint that he made SOME mistake.
This is a good breakdown of events & it sheds light on the incident, as I said above, the dept of player safety owed the fans this rundown in the form of a hearing that well may not have needed in any action EXCEPT clarity.

I stand by Pen fans would have wanted this explained if it had been Letang's teeth on the ice & Stalberg's stick in his mouth.

Hawks live to fight another day...Could've been done the easy way when they were up 3-1 at the end of the 2nd...but, a win is a win.

Still, Chicago needs to fix their PK and find a way to hold leads. They've had 6 leads so far in this series and only have 2 wins to show for it? Terrible.

If I need to endure another double-OT, I may need something stronger than the Kirin I'm chugging.
