The 1:09 delayed penalty was easily the best part of the game. Spezza just toyed the Wild.

I may not be as smart as domcha when it comes to hockey, but pretty sure I wouldn't be inserting Malkin into the lineup when the Pens have been en fuego without him.

Please contact Holland for a deal. We'll trade Nyquist, Jimmay Howard and a bag of pucks for moogleno's favorite player.

I would slowly add him back like Lindy Ruff did with Tyler Seguin last night.

We (likely) shall see. The D and Goaltending have been much improved the last quarter of the season and Jamie Benn is a beast in the postseason. Dallas can take the Hawks, but St. Louis is a tough matchup for them.

He would have played seguin more but his coke dealer missed the pre game warm ups which always limits Tyler's minutes.

This isn't the same Blackhawks team either. Hossa has deteriorated to a third liner, Seabrook has severely regressed defensively, and their depth is just gone.

And it's time to stop pretending. Jamie Benn is better than Patrick Kane. Benn has had more goals on significantly worse offensive starts than Kane. Additionally, where Kane is a pure scorer, Benn is a force on the power play, more physically imposing, and a better two way player.

Stay deluded.
Do you think he could tell whose stick got him in the eye? He was embellishing trying to get a penalty like he always does. If he was legitimately injured, he wouldn't have started game 2.

You are embarrassing yourself now. If he were not injured he would not have given up the goal or left the game.

Exactly why the crowd was booing, the refs gave him FAR longer than they should have to dick around. Even the national and Canadian commentators have said that he was given way longer than any other player would get. He took at least 5 or 6 minutes to gather himself. If you're hurt, you come out. You don't delay the game that long to decide, then leave the game anyway.

That's on the refs. They go to the bench and tell the coach, "you've got 30 seconds to put a goaltender in because we're dropping the puck". A smart player will take as much time as the refs allow and we all know goalies will get a little extra time as they are expected to play a full game.

Hank didn't delay the game, the refs did.

You have a point there, so the fans weren't booing the queen for being a whiny bitch, they were booing the refs because of the long delay

Plus in the end it all worked in Pitts favor, they got a quick goal while he was still recovering. Had the refs forced the issue, raanta probably would have come in and not having just taken a stick to the eye, would have had a better chance of stopping the puck.

I gotta say, from a mental perspective, missing the playoffs is kinda nice. 2011 made me feel closer to a heart attack/stroke/mental break down than I've ever been. It's nice to be able to watch and enjoy it stress free.

I don't understand why dom was always upset and bitter, the maple leaf life looks stress free to me
