Stars are a fun bunch to watch. Always seems like there is more red than green in the stands whenever the Hawks or Wings come to town. Was great to see them hand it to the Hawks and to see all the Hawks' fans' sad/angry reactions on tv.

Ben Scrivens was at the very best nothing more than a back up goalie. And not even a good one to boot.

I have a feeling Kassian will remain in the minors for the rest of his career and will only be called up if there are injuries.

I dunno...Scrivens was always a decent backup if he was playing on a decent team. On the Oilers...where he was counted to be a starter without ANY D...well, yeah...I'd be bat-turd too. But, I read he's a classy and nice person.

Instead, Edmonton brings in the guy who took the head off of Sam Gagner and then laughed about it and would not answer the call when asked...Terrible. And to top things off, he's got similar "medical" interests to some of the peeps Deano loves on the Kings...

All this talk about trading 1 of Sid or Malkin is just dumb. Get a decent GM in there and these problems with solve themselves. From the day they hired him I shook my head. The game passed him by some time ago.

Scrivens is a classy/nice guy, that's for sure. He's up there with Andrew Ference when it comes to doing charity work, or work in the community. He represents whatever team he plays for well- however, that's not the reason he's being paid millions of dollars.

I'm not thrilled with the acquisition of Kassian. Like I said, I think the remainder of his career will be spent in the minors. I don't expect a player to behave like Scrivens off the ice, but I also don't like a player to behave like Kassian on (and off) the ice
