RS - Flacco, Moreno, Hester, Arizona Def

My problem is at RB2 for week 7. I have the following options to play:

Mendenhall vs Minn
Donald Brown @ St Louis
J Stewart vs Buffalo

Which of the three do I start at RB2. Normally it would be Mendenhall but he's playing a Minny D that got torched by Ray Rice. I don't see that happening again. And Donald Brown has a good match-up verses St. Louis.
I would start Jonathan Stewart since the Panthers have trouble passing the ball, that's just me. I doubt the Bills will get enough of a leg up (or even be ahead at all for that matter) for Carolina to abandon the running game. Plus Buffalo has the 32nd ranked rushing defense (thanks guys )

sorry man. i would really disagree with this. I had Jonathan Stewart for 6 weeks before finally dropping him. Since DeAngelo is still producing. i dont see Stewart getting points for him.

Even though mendenhall is going up against vikes. i still would start him. but thats just what i would do.

stewart ran over 100 yds n' 1 td last week. ALso thomas jones ran 200+ yds on buffalo defense since some of the LB are injured.

^my post from the NFL thread Thank you, Chad!

I'm comfortably ahead, 133-68. My friend benched Vernon Davis and Patriots D (AGAINST THE BUCS!!) and they totaled 50 points! But it doesn't matter anyway

damn right as I was writing this post the score jumped up to 133-76. I'm still okay though...

For some strange reason, I decided to sit Ochocinco and I am in danger of losing.

Luckily I drafted and started Ricky... not that I needed him. This was my best week this season. 148 points with an IDP yet to play! Not too crazy or anything, though it's not a PPR league. Would have been more if only LT didn't get jipped of a TD run. I also had Sidney Rice who had a deep pass thrown to him and he caught it and ran for the end zone but Polamalu ran him down at the 2 yard line

lol I looked at Mendenhall, Stewart and Brown's numbers.... the first 2 got 4 points and Brown got 5 points. I figured the Bills run defense was almost as shitty as the Bucs D, since Thomas Jones literally ran all over them

This is why I hate giving advice on the internet.... if anyone ever stumbles on it and it turns out to not be great advice... then again he wouldn't have done any better with his other RBs.

Yea i had Rice on my other team also. too bad he gets yards but no TD's. lol it did no justice for all of those RB's. but Ricky's stocks just skyrocketed this week though. hopefully he gets that good shit that he is smoking.

i blame softball practices on sunday afternoons for my mediocre team. it's impossible to pick players off waivers before everyone else.

I proposed adding Miles Austin from waivers and dropping TJ Houshmanzadeh - he has been absolutely worthless. I hope it goes thru...

I dropped Santana Moss like a bad habit. He had one huge week and another good one but watching replays of Redskins games, I get so mad when I see him drop the long bomb.... over and over again. good luck if you have him starting this week. Until I see the Redskins do anything on offense....

knowing Santana he's probably going to have a huge week against the Eagles after I say this

QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - LT
RB - Ricky Williams
WR - Chad 85
WR - Sidney Rice
WR - Dwayne Bowe
TE - Dallas Clark
DP - London Fletcher
DEF - Packers
K - Nate Kaeding

bench
RB - Ahmad Bradshaw
RB - Jamal Lewis wtf was I thinking. one week wonder
WR - Sims-Walker
WR - Derrick Mason
TE - Shiancoe
DEF - Broncos

my favorite draft pick is still Chad.... picked him up in the 5th round! still can't believe it. I plan on picking up Shonn Greene (what a week!) and dropping Jamal. if that fails I'll get Beanie Wells.

Holy Crap! That was a close one.

I was winning 103-58 before the start of tonight's game. I had Portis left to play and my opponent had Philly's D and Desean Jackson. I thought I was a shoe-in.

The final score was 107-104.

The skins players have not done shit this year. 5 points between Portis and and S. Moss, this week.

Actually I appreciate all the advice I get from everyone in this thread. And I understand its my decision in the end, so even if I benched someone who went off, I definitely wouldn't put the blame on you guys.

In the end it really didn't matter as all my RB's sucked balls this week. I started Gore and Stewart who both got me a huge 4 pts each. And its not like Mendenhall or Brown did better with 4 and 5 respectively. I just got lucky Rodgers, Pitt Def, R Wayne and D Jackson carried me to another win. I needed this win as everyone in my division lost.

Yeah I'm the commish of the Injured league but we have no waivers unless a guy just got dropped so no homo here. I didn't post in here because I thought this thread was about the pay league since we had our own thread but here I am. And just in time because I started 0-3 and am now 4-3. I think we have a bunch of guys that are 4-3 in the nonpay league but I can't see it at work.

Need some trade advice.

I have the opportunity to trade for either Owen Daniels or Antonio Gates.

I think Daniels so actually more appealing, but here are some facts:

1. I have Phillip Rivers, so the Rivers to Gates combo seems appealing.
2. Gates has had his bye week, while Daniels hasn't, so I'd get one more week out of Gates.
3. If I take Gates, I play the guy who would keep Daniels during his bye week, weakening him for our Week 10 matchup.

I think those points are enough to lean toward Gates.

Comments?

Owen Daniels has been on a tear lately, and sadly taking all the TD's away from my #1 reciever. If it were me i would get Daniels over Gates. Also looking at JMT's post. Gates has the harder schedule.

Hmmm ... actually looking closer, Daniels is way more consistent than Gates. Gates had one really good game, skewing his stats.

I think Gates is probably the most athletic tight end in the NFL at the moment, but Owen Daniels is putting up the numbers. I go for consistency too and looking at the numbers they've put up in each game so far, I'd go with Daniels too.

Even though it is an 8 person work league, people should still know better. I was surprised he was still available because in my 4 other leagues he was snatched up a long time ago.
