he won't be on the sidelines for his own safety. I am very shocked he is still employed.

After not doing anything for years, it seems like they're trying really hard to go in the other direction.

Weren't, I assume you mean?

It feels like they're showing the appearance of taking meaningful action versus taking meaningful action.

They're still protecting their own...

They're keeping McQueary on the payroll so that he can't talk about what he saw

I think that may have to do with Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law.

He is protected by law, so the university can't fire him... hence the administrative leave...

I thought I saw on an ESPN crawl that McQueary did stop the action per an email he wrote? Anyone?

Inquiry Grew Into Concerns of a Cover-Up

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — A critical break in the investigation of Jerry Sandusky came via a posting on the Internet: a random mention that a Penn State football coach, years before, might have seen something ugly, but kept silent.....

You see any of the interviews he has given? He is just creepy. I know that doesn't make you guilty... but when you're telling the reporter you were attracted to young boys... then your lawyer chimes in off screen re-wording it... it's painfully obvious (and sad) that these allegations are likely true.

He'll get his in jail. Even convicts do not take too kindly to child abusers...

Now his wife opened her mouth saying the accusers fabricated their stories: http://espn.go.com/college-football/...-harm-children

Maybe it's just me, but they need a new lawyer. Everytime one of them opens their mouth they do more and more damage IMO...

I'm glad the judge decided to speed things up and not make this a long, drawn out trial. Good for him.

I can almost guarantee he won't be there more than a week before he's attacked and possibly killed. Child molesters are at the bottom of the food chain in prison.
