First quarter was ugly. Freshman quarterback mistakes and an absent defense were hard to swallow, but they definitely responded well enough to say we stomped them for three quarters. Their QB was pretty awful though.

The only sad part was all the "Aggies" acting like thugs. Disgusting and embarrassing behavior. Definitely not what we stand for.

Well, at least Sumlin publicly rectified one of the gross behaviors from yesterday.

TCU...

I was reasonably satisfied about the 4 teams playing for the championship. I thought the field covered the best out there. Then TCU goes and stomps the only team to beat 'Bama, and I'm back to wondering, "WTF were they thinking having a 4 team playoff?" If FSU and TCU played today, I would put my money on TCU. Them and Baylor got shafted.

FSU playing so poorly you would think Jameis slipped his teammates something.

I think we finally saw FSU for who they were. I haven't been impressed with these last-minute wins against unranked teams, even if they were undefeated. Oregon was having none of it.

FSU showed that they were exactly who I thought they were all year. A fraud with a weak schedule.

Good riddens.

Sucks for TCU and Baylor.

Whoop whoop

Fantastic day for the worst conference in football eh?

Sadly though we have no chance against Oregon. IMO

I have Oregon by one score.

Calling it close only because Meyer knows the ropes and is the better coach.

Meh, I think the Big XII now has a good shot at worst of the power 5 conferences.

Chad, I'm interested to know why you think you don't have a shot. FSU put up 530 yards on Oregon. If you don't turn the ball over, I don't see why you couldn't win.

I'm actually kind of surprised at how level the conference field has become. It doesn't seem as though any one conference has more than two powerful teams and all have some very mediocre teams.

I think the total score will exceed 100 points, and I think the winner is simply the team that turns the ball over less. Whoever makes the mistakes on offense looses the game IMO.

Understood. That's how Johnny kicked so many teams' asses. I'm hoping it's a good game. Both teams are better than I gave them credit for.

I'm rooting for the Ducks to stay with the Pac-12. Also I lived in Ohio for 3 years, and Ohio State fans were so hard to be around that it was good fun when they lost a big game.

I don't understand why college coaches won't kick field goals. Get your points and get off the field. Why do the pros do it? Because they are pros.

Good stop by OSU.

OSU D is looking better as the game goes on. Jones is playing smart. Elliot is a beast.

I have never really been around them, but this is essentially why I chose to root for Oregon.

Congrats OSU. I always overrate them every year, and deservedly so since they usually suck. Proved me wrong this year.

College kickers aren't that great.

Fsu's got a great one that will def go pro maybe even first round but most college kickers can't kick 40-50yds reliably.

Damn, OSU won.

I was hoping Meyer would have had a heart attack on the field.

That second half was more or less a complete beat-down by OSU. Oregon couldn't seem to tackle anyone at first contact, and couldn't get out of their own way on offense. Oregon was just out played.

Interesting result - if this were last year OSU would not have been in the final game at all, and here they are winning it all. I've always been a proponent of a playoff system for college football - I think this wound up being a very good thing. Got three good games and an interesting story line.

Congrats to Ohio!

^Yea being completely honest the only reason that game wasn't boring was four turnovers. That could have ended up being 60+/10. Lol

Truer words...

You'd always see OSU gear on people the day after a win. Only after a win. It became a running joke.

Well, that made a statement. I didn't get to watch much of it, but what I did see showed a pretty dominant O-line for OSU. Maybe Oregon is the finesse team people thought they were after all?

They were on the 3 yard line.

And speaking of fans...talk about representing. 3 to 1 at the game last night? 4? Lol

I heard them talking pregame on TV (and I'm pretty sure they were referring to that OSU QB) that when he was recruited to OSU, he was the #10 overall player in that year's draft class... and he is a third string QB. That says something about their recruiting since Meyer got there.

Well his position isn't in question. It's likely he could be a Heisman candidate next year.
