I hope Cornell can shoot like they did against the Badgers when they play the Wildcats. That would really shake things up.

Oh man I hope Cornell can do it. How the f- could Nova and Kansas both be knocked out in the round of 32?!?!? I thought Duke and the Cuse were so overrated but they may go deep and who knows how good Kansas St., W. Virginia, Butler, or Xavier really are? Buckeyes might go deep too although Michigan St. looks pretty solid.

If Kentucky goes all the way, I'll have a small victory. Otherwise, I'll trash my bracket lol....

For Michelle Beadle (co-host of SportsNation with Colin Cowherd) being touted as a female sports expert, she literally has one of the worst brackets I've seen this year:

I made the mistake of listening to yahoo's "expert" last minute analysis. Never again. I had my gut picks squared away and then switch after getting the intel. They got everything they said wrong. How the fuck do the have a job?

Always trust your gut......NEVER trust yahoo sports analysts.

When I get back from breakfast I'll have to calculate my points off of that...if I can remember my bracket. But I don't think mine is much better.

^That's Impressive! I bookmarked his bracket to see how well he did later.

I lol'd hard at Beadles bracket, but then I noticed I have 3 of her 4 teams in the final four...

He has the Buckeyes losing on Friday

Edit:

CBSSports.com can not confirm Alex's entry -- the company doesn't track entries to their Bracket Manager program. Unlike CBSSports' Bracket Challenge, which ranks players nationally and locks entries once the tournament begins, Bracket Challenge does allow changes after play starts.

OK, her's was 220 Round 1, 120 Round 2.

Mine was 240 Round 1, 160 Round 2.

Not much better. Michigan State, OSU, Cuse, KSU, UK, WVU, Duke and Baylor were my correct picks in Round 2.

This weekend I have the following (posting here because I threw mine out):

Kansas over Sparty (nice one!)
Georgetown over OSU (again!)
Cuse over Vandy (well, still alive there)
KSU over Pitt (again)
UK over Wisc (again)
WVU over NM (again)
Duke over Siena (again)
Nova over Baylor (oops)

My Final Four was:
Kansas (doh!) over Cuse
UK over Duke (holy crap, something that still might happen!)
and Kansas over UK (oops)

Butler > Syracuse

OT game Xavier vs K State

Cornell, although losing, only letting Kentucky score 49 so far with 2:30 left.

Shit, this is one helluva tourney!

One of the best games of the tournament so far. Crawford is a beast and kept Xavier in it, including nailing a crazy 35-foot 3-pointer with 10 seconds left in OT to tie the game. But Pullen completely took over in the 2nd OT and sealed the deal.

Reminds me of a bracket pool I was in 2 years ago. A girl had Michigan State losing in the sweet 16 and then making it to the Championship game...

No, the NCAA doesn't re-seed the final four. It's been discussed and debated in past years, but never passed.

I'm not sure if any other tournament does it.

How many times have there been no No. 1 seeds in the final four? (assuming Duke loses today)

Twice:

There were only two times in NCAA Men's basketball history that no #1 seed has been in the final four. The only two years were 1980 and 2006, with the following teams included in their separate final fours:

1980: Louisville (#2 seed), Iowa (#5 seed), Purdue (#6 seed), and UCLA (#8 seed)

2006: UCLA (#2 seed), Florida (#3 seed), LSU (#4 seed), and George Mason (#11 seed)

all those people at a PRACTICE? I guess I'm not surprised... they probably had the whole student body of the university there.

I think Butler and WV will pull through today.

Anyone watching this year?

Arizona (5seed) is playing Duke (1seed) right now. Good game. Go Cats.
