Chris Kelly is the one setting everything up. Right now the draft is set for Wed. Aug. 23rd at 8:30 pm Eastern.

 

whoa.. he hasn't been online for almost 2 months now..

 

Uh-oh... well I know that Mantis was trying to get a hold of him, and now he's signed up, so hopefully Chris is still around.

 

I got signed up because someone else provided the information to me.

I've tried to contact Chris, but with no luck. Jonesi did a great job of running the league last year, and we didn't have this stuff where the commissioner was out for 2 months. With that said, Chris has been running AZ fantasy leagues for at least the last 3-4 years, and I've never seen anything like this from him.
First, I sincerely hope he's OK, cause I wanted to bust his ass this season. Second, if we are unable to contact Chris in a timely fashion, we will need a contingency plan for those that want to join in a pay league. I'm willing to step up and run the league, or if jonesi wants to, he can as well. I don't want the season to start with us still at square 1.

 

I'm with ya.. If Chris no-shows, highly doubt it, then you run the league this year and I'll back ya up..

Any update on this? Still only 5 people signed up so far, with the draft exactly 3 weeks away, but I count about 8 more who have posted in this thread since Chris went MIA. Should we just pass along the sign-up info to the 1st 5 people who requested it? I think it was setup as a 10-team league...

 

Also, I wasn't in it last year, so I dunno what the deal is with the fees & prizes. Anybody got that info?

 

last year we sent fees via paypal to Jonesi and had 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners paid out at the end of the season.

 

Just sit tight guys I'll talk with Mantis and we'll give a cut off date. If Chris isn't back by then we'll setup other leagues.. No worries guys we'll get it going..

I think there were a couple of different leagues last year. The one I was in was free. I'm down for a pay league though...I need the money.
